vs the entire KT house dedicated to Life
I don't agree with the fact that he didn't practice at all but the difference in the quality of practice made it a lost cause from the very beginning. In the end, Lilbow is qualified for DH, a big tournament that he has a legit chance to win, a thing that wouldn't have happened if he had practiced more HotS (and still lost to Life by the way).
I'm disappointed by the result and by the way he lost but I understand the reasons behind it. all I can tell you is I didn't like his attitude tonight, and I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one. Being a champion is not just about the way you play.

Overlord drop builds are way better. OL drop is at lair now ;p
What? no it's not lol, i've literally played 400 games of LotV in the last couple of weeks. there's no way it's lair.

Of course he is. He is as angry as he should be. He did a shameful display. What are people going to think of the foreign scene after that ? This is our best representative ? He can still redeem himself at DH Winter, I just don't get why anybody expected something different. It was phisically impossible to get efficient practice for this during the last 4 weeks. Of course he should've still done better than he did, because you don't lose 3 games like this in a row. Even if you played only LotV. Honestly, getting crushed like this happens. But the attitude, especially THIS is what bothers me. But again, there was no way for him to practice! If he went to Korea for practice, every single replay would've been sent to Life. So he stayed in EU, but there the server has been dead since WCS Season 3. It was a dilemma, so he chose to focus on DH winter, I don't blame him. He could've still done better today though, even while playing HotS, losing 3 games like this in a row is not necessary. Why would you assume that your replays would be sent to Life? Is it that safe to assume that no Koreans are willing to help out Lilbow and knowingly disadvantage him? Wouldn't Koreans want a less mechanically gifted player to go through Life so that they won't have to face Life? I think you might not know koreans

But not practicing and not putting up a fight, showing the world the best of the foreign hope is really really infuriating and insulting to us who stayed up late to watch and root for him
Lilbow himself did not expect to win, that is why I think he did not care. But I am still amazed the way he lost, the situations in bote game 2 and game 3 were good for any protoss that knows how to respond.

I think they're two of the most well-respected players.

People aren't mad at the results, they're mad at his attitude about it.
Lilbow's attitude is so lax as though he doesn't care about the tournament. If he truly was barred from properly preparing he should be pissed, he should be upset that this happened. If he actually gave a shit about really competing he'd show it.
He doesn't because he doesn't. He got his check for Ro16 and then wrote off the rest of the tournament. That sucks and it makes him look bad.
He deserves the criticism he's getting.

Stop the Lilbow discussion!
Nobody blames him for losing to Life!!! Nobody blames him for being wrecked by rushes!!! Nobody even blames him for not practicing!!! But everybody can blame him for talking about it, looking for excuses, tweeting that he does not care that he lost as he did not practice. Everybody can blame him for disrespecting his fans.
Howgh!

Regardless of the outcome of this match up, I feel that Polt wins on style at the beginning.

Not just an upset, a huge upset. That was a period of time when nobody thought Terran could win TvP. Now TvP is much more even.
