It's actually a proven point, that if someone would have literally perfect micro, that protoss would have been unbeatable because of FF.
I'll link the article if I can find it

To be honest zerg can somewhat counter this by getting burrow roach, but then getting burrow roach ling against immortal stalker is suicide. Roaches gonna get wrecked by immortals, lings will be stuck behind forcefields.
Terran can use medivac, but that also means it comes with a risk of losing a medivac full of units by a forward blink.
Conclusion : Remove forcefield, buff gateway units. I rather see 10x more of herO's blink play or sOs's creative builds than see soul train on every PvZ. Now that I think of it ravagers might not be that useful, because forcefields are usually used on the zerg's army, not on protoss's and you wouldn't want to waste shots firing on your own army just to get rid of forcefields.

forcefields scale extremely well with skill, just compare partings FFs to that of a random korean pro and those of a random korean pro to a foreigner. The only abilitys that let you show your skill as much as FFs are blink micro and marine splitting

We feel like we get a lot of feedback from forums saying there's no micro anyone can do against Force Fields. However, we just don't see this. For example, why do Zerglings or roaches try to bait out Force Fields if micro against them is not possible? Terran players picking off units on one side of Force Fields and dropping them on the more favorable side is another good example. We believe Force Fields are a very unique ability that sometimes feel there was nothing you could do, but that is okay because there are varying degrees of successes and failures. That is just StarCraft: If DTs come in when I have no detectors I'm dead, but that doesn't mean there was nothing I could have done." - DK, 2014 haha cant tell if he is serious or not Hold on, is that a real DK quote ? I thought you were trying to emulate a DK quote.

He's 100% serious. Blizzard actually thinks forcefields are brilliant game design. Even though they've been proven wrong over and over again, they like em so fuck

he has the sickest job ever blizzard pays him to just dick around and convince people to buy the third expansion at which point they can drop the game and carry on making heroes of the shit , a Moba which we really need more of.

This game wasn't an issue with forcefield. Hydra had no army vs an all in rofl. He deserved to get smashed
