If you only watch starcraft 2 for Naniwa then I don't want you around anyway lol You might not, but the sponsors definitely do. It's all about the viewer numbers and at the very least Naniwa usually brings those. I'm also less likely to tune in now that all my favourite players are out or failed to qualify(Naniwa included). You might think I'm not a true Sc2 fan (and you'd be right, my interest in SC2 has been declining a lot the past year.) Not to take anything away from Has and Serral, they deserved to go through today. We had roughly 34k viewers yesterday on main stream, peaked at around 38k today. Viewer count was just as high when Naniwa was not playing today. While 4k is 4k it's not that significant. And if Naniwa playing in the ro32 is more important to you than two others playing in the finals I really can't understand I'm sorry. I think viewership is okay and will be fine with or without naniwa

SH games get pretty much the same amount of viewers, so we could say Naniwa is as good for starcraft as 2 hr SH games :D

Absolutely pathetic behaviour by stephano and kane. Shame on ESL for allowing this kind of behaviour from stephano. It was also obvious stephano was biased during his analysis.

These are awful times for Taiwan though... It was 1AM-6AM on a Monday.
Even the most hardcore naniwa fans will balk at that unless they're a college student with afternoon classes.

I'm a Terran player and this may seem weird coming from one but the SH thing versus Mech is never the Zergs fault. You just straight up need them to survive. I blame the mechers.

I feel like sth was wrong with Stephano today, during the interview/analysis he had a couple of moments where he just had some sort of brainlag or sth like that. O_o

apparently only naniwa has the right to be a jerk to the other, otherwise it's "pathetic behavior"

He made some very unprofessional tweets about naniwa. You can check his twitter.

I don't really mind any composition or style as long as there is some form of interaction between the players.

Even some of us that don't like Naniwa know that Stephano was wayyyy out of line

True, but they might watch the rebroadcast/vods and I don't think the sponsors care if they watched live or not.

Even saying he is happy about a Naniwa loss is fine but when you are part of the cast and then brag about Kane spitting on the screen when Naniwa's face came up...those things are a little different. I'm not at all a fan of Naniwa but the whole spitting on the screen thing is just wrong.
