I root for has cause I truly like his playstyle :D People whine too much about game design balance and drama. They fail to appreciate all the cool plays you see from the players.

My guts say UK, didn't madals cast challenger from ESL UK studio? But it's not in a studio, it will be a real venue with a big live audience. That's why it's so upsetting that the location isn't announced yet. People have to plan their travel, book flights/hotels etc..

I had hoped they would do it during the CeBIT in Hannover, but apperantly they would have announced it earlier. I think they just dont know it yet and their fall back plan is ESL UK Studio with 5 people crowd. Or they try to get the G-Finity Arena in time but dont know yet if it will be possible. If UK is out of the picture then maybe France? Meltdown? Because Stephano doesn't get invited out of nowhere.

Sucks for potential spectators though particularly those who are willing/able to travel longer distances

He looked good but not amazing. Kind of the same goes for Bunny. Snute and ForGG looked very solid, but Serral played damn well, too. Overall, it seems like Zerg players are getting their shit together again. It's also cool to see that they are using vastly different playstyles. There are worlds between Serral and FireCake.

It's all about the viewer numbers and at the very least Naniwa usually brings those. I'm also less likely to tune in now that all my favourite players are out or failed to qualify(Naniwa included). You might think I'm not a true Sc2 fan (and you'd be right, my interest in SC2 has been declining a lot the past year.) Not to take anything away from Has and Serral, they deserved to go through today.

TLO had an interview with Spiegel a few days ago and was embarassed since he couldn't tell them when and where the finals will be. Also Aeromi told him afterwards, but he is on an NDA so he can't tell us. The fact that he knows makes me believe the finals are in France ![]()
