We had considered placing Nightend here due to his good performance during the qualifiers, but ultimately his attitude made us not want to extend an invite to him. Had he qualified he would have been given a spot, however. Harstem's proven to be a determined player, reliable, and many other wonderful things that made us happy to extend this courtesy invite to him.

yeah MLord put up a really good fight and would love to see him in, but I guess they chose Lilbow and Nerchio over him from WCS EU.

Well, not only has BaseTrade always been a firm believer in the "it's our tournament" philosophy (part of the fiercely independent brand that's made them such a success), Harstem is a far better player than NightEnd is, and its incredibly difficult to dispute that.

That's far from the first time he's been shown to be a tool. It's a pattern. I remember one time he BM'd so hard on ladder that it actually prompted Catz to ask Twitter who the smurf he was using belonged to just so he could call the dude out on it.
