This is a tournament intended for those that didn't quite make the WCS cut for season one 2015. You will only be eligible to play the qualifiers if you did not qualify for WCS. There were so many fantastic & skilled players who didn't make it, as this years first qualifiers were quite stacked and very cut throat, so we didn't want to leave everyone hanging for an entire season with nothing to do. We hope you can enjoy this tournament and still cheer for the players you love!

Groups will be region locked and players will not have to worry about cross server play until the RO8 (Seeding will be handled by group performance not random draw from a hat) at which point server preference will be handled by a coin flip (NA>EU>NA vs EU>NA>EU).

Groups will be handled in typical WCS Format, all Bo3 with order being:
Match A > Match B > Loser's > Winner's > Finals
2 Groups NA / 2 Groups EU
16 Players:
4 qualifier spots available per region (8 total)
4 invite spots for after the qualifiers conclude
4 invite spots for those that fall from Challenger
*note: SEA will classify as NA, anything else as EU

We had considered placing Nightend here due to his good performance during the qualifiers, but ultimately his attitude made us not want to extend an invite to him. Update: Due to some confusion around the WCS AM Challenger matches the 2nd NA Qualifier will be moved to a still yet-to-be-decided date (Ideally ASAP When WCS isn't on). Should have a new date soon™

Haikus are easy, just syllable restrictions. When you get into Asian languages, especially much older versions, there is a lot more room for interpretation, especially in a character based language.

All I am saying is drunk tournament is not that far out of the question, more of a sponsor issue. Blizz wouldn't likely not give a fuck.

There's not a whole lot to say about most of the games. They're very NA, in a modestly good way. They're a bit unconventional, very scrappy, a bit sloppy. Almost all of them are pretty fun to watch, but nothing groundbreaking.

I tried BFH timing first game, 1 medivac marine-tank drop (was on Deadwing) into hellion-banshee on second game. I never got to a third base in either game, he just busted through my natural.

Yes, and I am saying is that one of the reasons why he managed to catch Krass off guard is that Krass constantly had to concentrate on the defense against the waves of locus, while Pet was waiting for the perfect opportunity which he then took.
Also, the reason why the supply dropped so hard for the terran compared to the zerg is either because Krass forgot to use hunter-seeker-missiles (at least less than he could have) or because the ravens were so low energy since he constantly threw down auto-turrets. Probably both. :-/

What people don't understand of Avilo is that he is actually quite good, but he needs a reason to complain and so he does stupid shit, thats what gives him money, if he just tried to be a good player he would only have like 20 viewers.

Any ideas for invites? I would suggest NightEnd and Krass for Europe they both did very well in both qualifiers and would help with racial balance.

Well, not only has BaseTrade always been a firm believer in the "it's our tournament" philosophy (part of the fiercely independent brand that's made them such a success), Harstem is a far better player than NightEnd is, and its incredibly difficult to dispute that.
