There are more details about the lower in the thread! The match will take place Thursday, Dec 11 6:00pm GMT (GMT+00:00). Madals & ToD VOD: http://www.dingit.tv/channel/Madals/29050If you are a foreign language streamer and would like to cast this, please PM me. You will have to stream on dingit, There will be a BO7 with a $200 prize pool split 150/50.The $200 prize pool is being funded by DingIt - they are a new streaming platform that is really awesome and who I am going to be doing a lot of work for! DingIt is a new streaming platform. It uses an optimized streaming protocol, so end users see a lag-free and buffer-free stream using far less resources (including bandwidth) than any other live streaming or VOD site on the web. DingIt also has NO PREROLL ADS for eSport events! More details here: + Show Spoiler +The platform is really only just getting up and running! During this time we would love to get your feedback and any requests or suggestions you may have. DingIt was developed by OC Shield Ltd. an enterprise technology provider based in Europe. OC Shield financed the development and launch of DingIt and spun it off as an independent company - DingMedia Ltd. In addition to OC Shield financing, DingMedia is set to complete its first round of funding. A DOWNLOAD? REALLY? WHY?DingIt uses our own unique streaming protocol, which provides a better quality stream using MUCH less bandwidth. Our proprietary platform includes a unique video player that you'll need to download to see the stream. Like Netflix or Flash, its a one time download that will update automatically as we make improvements to it. For more information about the player, please see: Softpedia NEW STREAMING PLATFORM? Where is the money coming from??!!Please take a look at the further details on TL or on the main page. Dingit (Dingmedia Ltd.) is owned by a much larger firm (OC Shield) who do all the development in house! Are the players getting paid?!?!?!They sure are! And on time! For the last DingIt event, all involved were paid within 24 hours! Any other panic?!Please post your question here, we will respond as soon as possible!

Surprisingly Polt is up 6-1 in maps against Solar. But I'm not convinced by Polt TvZ lately, I would say 4-1 Solar.

4-3 Solar. Polt's TvZ won't be enough here.

lol @ that softpedia link that gives no useful information to the claims that this dingit provides "better quality stream with MUCH less bandwidth"

But I'm not expert.

What information would you want? Check the DingIt FAQ's too, they have a lot more info! http://kb.dingit.tv/

Can someone please write the results here?

Guess, just give them a try. Most people here are just not even willing to try it. There's things wrong with twitch, we all know it. Maybe this can be the replacement we need?

No, it doesn't use p2p!
Re the frame, the quality on Enhanced HD is 1080/60fps, and it still uses less bandwidth than other streaming services to do that!

It does a few very clever things to save bandwidth but still get the good quality. Most are company intellectual property so I can't share, but the FAQ has some details about some of the things we do (such as use UDP rather than TCP) etc.
Glad you like the quality though - anything you think could be improved?

the video quality option seems to suggest that enhanced hd is higher quality than source? that doesn't make any sense, I mean you could be using some fancy upscaling algorithm or frame interpolation but even that is arguably worse quality than source

RE the BRB - we are trying to find a good way to make the break screen more obvious and less like it is frozen. I definitely see why that is confusing!
On the quality, Enhanced HD is a higher quality than Source.

Again, not an expert, but how is it possible to have higher quality than source?

i never won anything so i am just curious Beating Solar would've been a lot more about prestige and self confidence than pizza money.
Didn't see this but glad Solar won, he is one of my favorite players.

well being able to say i won WCS America is probably more important than killing solar in bo5 so i would say it is not that prestigious either

"Do I practice and play Starcraft for two hours and gain experience just laddering against random people, or do I practice and play Starcraft for two hours, gain competitive experience, compete with a high level opponent, and possibly win money?"
I mean.. why wouldn't he?
And of course 200 dollars is something to care for. Just because you're winning a good prize pool once every couple of months (which is a rare case), doesn't mean you suddenly devalue all money.

probably true
but would you try your best in tournament for 25 000 or 200$?
