It's like the anti-SC2 for me. The game just seems so dumbed down compared to LOL or especially dota that idk why anyone would prefer it over either of those. It isn't even like there is that much of a smaller learning curve. Plus those are SO much more established that HoTS has really no chance. HoTS is very different to LoL and Dota. It is far more objective based. Less fancy imo, it's not something that I would enjoy watching, but fun-wise, it is incredibly fun

Sc2 = Only RTS out there Heartstone = Only easy accesable card game out there HotS = Dota, Dota 2, LoL, HoN and tons of failed Clones? Overwatch = TF2 and else? Can someone explain to me what hearthstone offers that so many people enjoy watching? Seems so simplistic to me.

Dota is better at dota but HotS is great fun actually. It's really fast and fluid.

I AM NOW AN INNOVATION FAN. Mvp would never lose a GSL final up 3-0. Please do not disgrace his legacy. Pfft. Not Mvp's fault that Innovation didn't think to 2rax.
Only winners would use a 2 rax in game 7.
Inno? He flew 7 medviacs into 15 mutas.

Cause MOBAs are insanely game knowledge based, Dota players have a 10 year edge, LoL players have a 5 year edge, with HotS I get to be a pioneer sort of even if the game isn't as good.
It might be more simple, but that doesn't mean it's bad or worse. I like that the games are way shorter and that there are no items but talents. I thought it would explode more, even in the alpha just as HS, but I guess it's still a moba and LoL and Dota just rule that genre.
