The game just seems so dumbed down compared to LOL or especially dota that idk why anyone would prefer it over either of those. It isn't even like there is that much of a smaller learning curve. Plus those are SO much more established that HoTS has really no chance.

True that. The very fast 1 or 2 base allins are mostly shitty.
But these allins also happen to other races so... I was more refering to the "normal macro game" where way more obvious action and multitasking is happening in TvT

Yeah but TF2 peaked before streaming on Twitch was a thing, Overwatch has the potential to get popular through streamers like Hearthstone did.

Cause MOBAs are insanely game knowledge based, Dota players have a 10 year edge, LoL players have a 5 year edge, with HotS I get to be a pioneer sort of even if the game isn't as good.
