Well, Blizzard has done a lot to remove some of that cheese as well as giving earlier scouting options. Problem is that protoss cheese is still as strong. Hell, the only reason MsC needs a 60 second overcharge is because 1 base protoss is so strong in PvP that it would be very hard to take expansions without the MsC.

Although, if these protoss players do their best to end the game as early as possible, and such is not without risk, it probably suggests that they fear mid and late game zerg.

Oh please, you can't really compare BW to SC2, BW didn't have things that you couldn't do anything about(Force Fields), or if it had, they were higher in the tech and were quite hard to use because of limited selection, macro, no smart-casting and how BW worked in general.
