Opinions are not facts. Exactly. For instance afaic, I prefer sOs play style to the old mech v mech TvT that people here usually worship. The fact is that his strats are at least quite original.

It's just fucking strategy. You really think that sOs/PartinG or other "abusive toss" like LR love to put it in can't play macro game against Life/Soulkey or other Zerg? It's called PRE-PA-RA-TION. sOs was always genius of preparation. Nothing weird that he did just smashed 4-0.

You gotta respect that i imagine how much hate bisu would've got these days for his revolution, invisible things that do damage + flying things that kill detectors is the most abusive shit possible. Oh please, you can't really compare BW to SC2, BW didn't have things that you couldn't do anything about(Force Fields), or if it had, they were higher in the tech and were quite hard to use because of limited selection, macro, no smart-casting and how BW worked in general. You couldnt do much against storms.

Opinions are not facts. Sure, and I have a friend that thinks TvZ is the worst matchup in the game. Doesn't mean that people are going to stop saying TvZ is the most entertaining. Well interesting that you bring that up. Because the way the "most interesting matchup" (TvZ) usually unfolds is through long macro games. Usually the player with better macro and mechanics wins. Other than that it is pretty straight forward and based mostly on skill, not sucker punch moves. Compare it to PvZ and PvT where cheese is much more common. So if majority prefers games like TvZ (and based on the best games of 2013 thread, they do) I don't understand how they could enjoy sOs type of PvZ as well at the same time.Or how could they enjoy the way HerO played against Innovation at IEM.

The safety against lots of early aggression gives Protoss a lot of options early game. It used to be that Protoss had to play safe just to stay alive, but now it's the opponent that's constrained by what Protoss can throw at them.
