I fear this might be one of those " don't let it get that far" solutions, at least until someone innovative comes along that breaks everyones minds
I know it is like that and it was always like that for Zerg, basically there is a death timer for Zerg where if you don't kill your opponent or cripple him a lot before a certain time, you pretty much lost.
However, it's not like it's easy to get there, we don't see it very often
To be honest with all the mech buffs it's very easy to get to this point as meching player, you just need to play very defensive and there is not many points where Zerg will be able to break you and when you start sacing scv's it's already too late
If you play too passive you'll just get outplayed.
How do you define "outplayed"? Not necessarily saying that isn't what happened in this game, but if there's nothing you can do, you're not getting "outplayed"
If you force the terran to stay on 3 bases, you can't really lose. The best way to do it is making SH.

Depending on the map maybe, but I feel if zerg sees it coming, they can start playing to stop terran getting a fourth, and even mech on three bases can't get this far. And there are a couple of sweet sweet muta switch timings and things that can make mech hard to play. I also aggree with the sentiment of mass spores viper, even if it's the most boring thing in the world.

When he did the first attack with ultra's that ran into the main, it was a free win if he kept attacking. But he remaxed on queen/infestor for no reason and let terran build PF all around the map. That was the worst decision. Late-late game is hard to engage for the zerg, so I wouldn't hate on him for that.

Don't know about neural, but you can cancel yamato with a viper pull.

If we let Terran beat Zerg with mech this boring for a few months, next expansion we can get a MSC, think about it!!!!!!!

Also this map helps with providing 2 "small" chokes to half the map.
Should have just made a fuckton of swarmhosts ,vipers and spores corrupters , no neutral . No nudys no drop tech , that was a bad display of lategame by Hydra , but it was to be expected he isn't much of a lategame zerg , not very creative ...
