Well Hydra made many mistakes. He never splitted corrupters against HSM, he didn't split BL to press on the north front at the same time, he never made vipers (well that may not have been a good idea, but he could have tried).

Can someome explain to me how is zerg supposed to beat this

I fear this might be one of those " don't let it get that far" solutions, at least until someone innovative comes along that breaks everyones minds

I know it is like that and it was always like that for Zerg, basically there is a death timer for Zerg where if you don't kill your opponent or cripple him a lot before a certain time, you pretty much lost.

However, it's not like it's easy to get there, we don't see it very often

To be honest with all the mech buffs it's very easy to get to this point as meching player, you just need to play very defensive and there is not many points where Zerg will be able to break you and when you start sacing scv's it's already too late

If we let Terran beat Zerg with mech this boring for a few months, next expansion we can get a MSC, think about it!!!!!!!

Be right back few months

just practice with avilo! both of you are proplayers, right?

Does Effort still have almost Jaedong-levels of ZvZ? Haven't seen it in a long time.

I think ground mech is interesting and potentially highly entertaining. Mass air play late game is probably a bit broken. Once this many ravens and vikings are out, the only recourse for zerg is to have complete map control and creep spread and play the most mind-numbingly stupid style ever.

If there was a way to buff ground mech and nerf late game mass raven/viking, I think mech could be pretty good.

Should have just made a fuckton of swarmhosts ,vipers and spores corrupters , no neutral . No nudys no drop tech , that was a bad display of lategame by Hydra , but it was to be expected he isn't much of a lategame zerg , not very creative ...

Yup hydra definetly had the game in the bag but just didnt adjust his composition at all. Just fighting late game mech/air with corruptor brood lord and fungal is never gonna end well.

Swarm hosts lead to mass static def into ravens lead to mass air turtling.

Nerf (redesign?) to swarm host accompanied by a raven nerf should go a long way.

Wow, Korean programers might have excellent execution, they're clueless in some area.
Hydra had no clue how to play high eco super-lategame ZvT (swarmhosts/vipers/corruptors/mass spores).
This looked like reminescent WOL play...
