Come on ToD :/ Protoss complaining about lategame TvP, how hilarious. lol that comment. after 1 year of happy winning every lategame tvp that went to it on even terams, terrans still dont realize that lategame is total T dominance? you cannot beat 20 ghost 20 viking 20 medivac army with massscans to kill observers. the one thing that comes closest to beat or at least fight evenly with it is mass oracle for revelation with lots of tempests and storm+cannons to fall back on. the early and especially midgame is where you have a point of P arguably being stronger, since the protoss army naturally grows stronger adding colossus and storm for their first max - terrans kind of have to max out on mmm viking/ghost first while having a hard time transitioning into their superarmy of doom. so happy can beat eu protoss players in the late game for a year = terran stronger than toss in late game...sick logic. plz come back when you see players like maru/innovation play late game oriented tvp and win consistently rather than focus around 3 base scv pulls. pro tip: that will never happen because protoss will always win in the late game if terran does not have an advantage coming out of the midgame. I love how you're mentioning Maru here thats wrong with maru? my bff marineking is gone and he is the closest replacement Maru hasn't played a late game TvP since his finals against Rain, and it wasn't even that late. there is a reason for that, because he doesn't want to play to the late game. i only mentioned maru because i consider him one of the top terrans. i could mention taeja since he plays similar late game oriented tvp with nice ghost play...but then again thats why hes not a tvp monster like maru because its just too hard to pull off vs a strong toss than can abuse their late game strength to full potential. Taeja's TvP is at least as good as Maru's was* Summer is over. Though technically they both went 3-1 with Dear Dohohohohoo. Fucking Protoss. TaeJa took a late-game map off of Dear.

So at least don't speak your ass off just like that. Using and not using health-bars is completely personal preference, why would you try to discredit anyone because of this? Makes no sense.. Maybe I should´nt base my analysis on Catz twitter. However, the point is, ToD is leagues above avilo. forgg, among a couple of other koreans, doesn't use healthbars either

ooh MC got great drop defense too :o

He surely is furious about the whole situation. You do realize that when you play SC2 games professionally on that level, there´s no marging for error and you can exploit the map however you like to your advantage. ToD just wasn´t prepared that Happy would do such a thing. And ToD probably already thought he had won. Something like that would kill almost everyone´s mindset. You are making it sound like Happy did something wrong on that tie game. ToD had options to actually win in that situation but didn't use it, he played bad, so it's frustrating to me that you make it sound that way. Happy played to win. The rules of the game are set before the game, fair has little to do with it. Anything can be made sound unfair with your logic, and building lifting would certainly go very very very low on my list of that whinefest. It´s actually you who wants to read it like that. ToD just wasn´t prepared to compete at that "low" level of mindgames. If you know you lost, all you can do is try to exploit something, so you actually could turn it around. So he used the map to his advantage. There was nothing bad about how ToD played until this moment, ToD just wasn´t prepared for something like that, which you could clearly see when you just went in to kill the buildings. It´s like the example I gave with CS. If your enemy shots at you and you only have 2% health left, all you can do is run and hide or flat-out die. Now, a really "intelligent?" player would try to hide forever to not be caught. And if the other player doesn´t find him (he cannot kill him, can he?), it suddenly is a tie? That would be a first. I have never ever seen such a thing happen, because every pro player in CS would be ashamed of himself, and to good reason.
You never played CS, did you? If you just hide you lose because either you cannot stop the terrorists from getting the bomb ready, or you yourself cannot deploy the bomb. And still sometimes you need to hide to safe your weapon for the next round. Hence: Terrible example.

Hm, apart from that zergling runby which did nothing to put titan in the current situation he is in, what did he do wrong? edit: apart from planting down a third nexus ofc.

Not the normal CS mode where you need to defuse the bomb. If you don´t like that example, use Quake deathmatch or something else. My point still stands.
