hahaha, sure. Innovation never had any success without hellbats at all. right?
Flash must really have some kind of aura i cannot quite understand cause i've never followed BW. he has so many fanboys that just say anything to try and make him look better than everybody else.
Too bad you never saw flash in his prime. He practised more hours than anyone else and as a result was almost unbeatable. The flash we see today does not practise as much, maybe due to motivation or due to his injury, and as a result he is just mediocre. His fans will have to accept the truth some day, but it takes time, because he was "god" once.
WCS Korea RO16 two seasons in a row, second at MLG, most wins in Proleague (iirc) = "just mediocre"? Love your standards.

not sure if serious....
Game 1 BO loss and Game 2 was Flash inexplicably doing something retarded...
Exactly, he failed badly.
The better player won.
Yeah but saying Innovation played better there was not really saying anything.
Drop hellbats, pull scvs to repair bunker, win game.
"SO AMAZING!"
Flash just sucked a huge donk right there
Flash didn't defend well, sorry fanboy.

I think you might have a reading comprehension problem...
or maybe I don't read the full post when a fanboy is breaking down. Going from: Innovation is bad, Flash is awesome didn't do anything wrong, flash "sucked huge donk" is something else.
I didn't say Flash didn't do anything wrong... lol
I said Flash had a BO loss in game 1 and looked like a bronze player in game 2. I don't think it was very impressive that Innovation won in those circumstances. Like, not impressive at all. He basically a-moved to victory, lol.

Also hellions are good against hellbats, but the amount (2) is not enough to make a difference. You are better of to build 2 mines initially if you plan on going for hellbats too, because your drop will be later. With a bunker at the natural, 2 initial mines and 2 vikings before medivacs, you can defend. You can go up to 4 vikings and produce hellbats nonstop.
As the defending player, you have the advantage and will usually trade cost efficient in units, even adding a 3rd cc before your opponent. Even if he somewhat kills a few workers, he'll never have cost efficient trades once his first hellbat drop didn't deny mining for 10-20 seconds and also killed a few workers. Poor defence, not 'state of the game' .
I love Flash, I really do and also INnoVation but what we need to blame there was Flashs poor defence.
I agree that Flash could have done better. But pure defending vs Hellbats is still bat crazy to pull off. Ff you look at the Keen vs Bomber series, Keen did it perfect vs 1 medivac, perfect vs 2 medivacs, and then 4 medivacs came and he lost the game...
It wasn't perfect then... simple as that There are maps where its harder on and maps where its easier on. Newkirk is one of the map where its pretty "easy". Two mines can zone off 40% of the route of medivacs already, vikings can zone out the rest and if they commit, they lose 300/100 guaranteed. There is no "can get out of it" and there's no "I'll be even in army" because constantly losing fighting stuff means you will be behind. :x

I admit, my standards for flash are super high. The same thing with Jaedong.
Hellbat are just flat out too strong (health, damage) for what it cost, we can run around by making a lot of weird rules around this fact, the bio+mech tag, only 2 per medivacs, bio but can't get into bunker... and so on, but the main issue is that HB is so strong for what it cost that HB drop are always gonna be cost effective. This is true in all match up but it's less an issue because zerg eventually has mutalisk to stop drop so basically HB drop have a limited timing, and protoss also have Stalker/feedback to stop the drop.

Both JD and Flash are at that weird situation where they're good players and get high finishes in tournaments but haven't broken out into the dominating top.

Flash and Jaedong are clearly in different places of skill at the moment.

Yes but hellbats really snowball. Innovation had drop capability faster and even though Flash had solid defense in first drop, he still lost 7 workers which is still bad at that stage of the game. It was strange that he didn't make any turrets but Innovation could afford to make them and Flash really couldn't.
