With decent control, he could have shut down the drops entirely with the vikings, and at least had a fighting chance. Maybe he catches two medivacs before they hit the base and shoots them both down with no SCVs lost and that puts him slightly ahead on the hellbat count (and minerals/gas lost). Maybe he keeps the drops away and expands quickly and then pushes out with mech... maybe anything but literally banging his head against a solid wall and hoping the bricks give out before his head does... | ||
