because normally it isn't, especially against bio-tank.
It is highly underrated. It imo isn't bad, but max out fights will favour the terran. Since zerg will max out earlier it is on the zerg to make the moves, which might be what doesn't make zerg feel roach/hydra is comfortable playstyle, since most of the time zerg is on the receiving end

that's just the result of being up on upgrades If taeja just sat at his base with his tanks in position and at least waited until he had 2/2 he would have been fine

You sure about that? Have you been in a situation against Hydra Roach where you decide to sit back to catch up on upgrades and build tank count? A competent zerg that catches you doing that will explode in macro and tech for swarm hosts. If you miss that timing and fail to destroy the zerg right there and then you just lose.
i like to manner mule sometimes too when a player is kinda dragging the game out although its over.... i sometimes manner mule when i lose in desperation and hope that they turn into nukes and smash my opponents army...

You don't "build tank count". You just get a few tanks and some bunkers and completely deny the zerg from being able to attack, until you have a good sized and upgraded bio army
