Praying to the Gods TaeJa/Seed can eliminate the Zerg in the semi-final, having a ZvZ final like last year -- actually, last year only had ZvZ from semis onward -- would be uncool.
Seed vs Stephano would be nice, I cannot remember a previous match between them. Otherwise I'll settle for MC vs. TaeJa or Stephano vs TaeJa.

Same. The past two HSC have been zerg heavy. Especially HSC6, but 5 was especially hilarious because of no terrans from the quarterfinals onwards
