because some discrepancies are allowed? The GSL only plays one of those matches in a day, they need to play both of them + the finals not to mention all of the fanfare. Bo5s makes sense.
Yes, makes sense for their timing. But it seems odd that the Season Final are supposed to determine the globally best player of the season, so I would expect at least the same degree of verisimilitude in determining this. And apart from the sportsmanship, there's also a lot more money on the line. I hope Blizzard is still fine-tuning WCS for its second season.

One or the other is completely fine but the combination of medivac speed and hellbat aoe is really boring to watch ><
As a terran player I won't disagree with you, but there's no fix I can think of.
For starters they can remove the bio tag and make them pure mech, prevents them from being healed by medivacs.
or get rid of medivac speed or get rid of all that HP or get rid of the unit all together i miss my old tvt, the good old days of wings where i wouldn't lost if i missed one small thing t-t

The point of WCS is to foster competition and incentive in EU and NA regions. This is why so many people are perturbed at no soft or hard region locks, otherwise we might as well do as you just suggested and only have KR, and at that point is it really any different than GSL/OSL/Pro-league? No. So, your suggestion is redundant.
You need infrastructure to produce talent. Take a look at what Japan did to foster baseball growth and talent and what the US does to do the same. We need the equivalent of little league, HS / Travel ball, and College if we are to catch up and that means we need WCS NA to be soft-locked (meaning those outside the region who participate need to stay for 6+ months or, have residency).

Yeah I don't think anyone is suggesting Alive would beat him in a macro game or anything. Innovation could probably pull his drones at the beginning and beat Alive because hes so good. Its just a little bit of a let down to watch Hellbat drops over and over and over.
Innovation playing Zerg AND worker rushing? Let's not get out of hand here :D
Haha I play (or suck to be more accurate) as zerg so probes = protoss drones and scv's=terran drones. But the way these two are playing, the way you put it is probably feasible too.

you just need to practice to type faster
Yeah, you sort of hit a wall when you mostly type with your middle fingers though. I never learned homerow or any of that shit.
I like hellbat TvT better than boring old tank line TvT. The guy with better multitasking wins in hellbat drop wars. Thats it.
Watching Innovation shut down aLive drops while razing aLive mineral line was amazing. aLive was simply out classed. He's gonna have to do something crazy to take a map I feel like.

You won't catch-up. Instead we should just host a world tour circuit.
