The bounce attack loses 2/3 strength wiith each bounce, and that includes the upgrades. +2 armor reduces every bounce by 2. So, the armor scales better than the attack. It's easy to see when you actually spell out how much damage each attack does: 0/2 attacking 1/1: 9/3/1 against 1 armor = 8/2/0.5 damage, or 10.5 total damage done. (Attacks do a minimum of 0.5 damage.) 1/1 attacking 0/2: 10/3.333/1.111 against 2 armor = 8/1.333./0.5 damage, or 9.833 total damage done. | ||

It becomes 10, 3.3, 1.1 My mistake. you don't get +1/+1/+1 from the upgrades. it's +1/+0.33/0.11 but how does the game even handle decimals? playing in the unit tester it still looks like it goes to 10/4/2 with +1 attack, then 11/4/2 with +2 attack and 12/4/2 with +3 attack. or does the game track the decimals in the hitpoints. | ||
