Dat dream.
Don't worry, you will find an excuse for the koreans if that happens.
naw, no excuses if its bo5 in the semis. It's well deserved. JD looks lost in ZvP beating Gumhio would be impressive though.

Ah, the classic "claim a foreigner will win in every tournament LR thread and be smug about it, then pre-emptively mock people supposedly making excuses for Koreans even though there's about a 10:1 ratio of that type of mockery to actual excuses for Koreans" LR post. One day, perhaps not tomorrow, but one day, you will be able to actually say "Told you so" if you do it enough.
and you'll be there to tell them that you told them so
quite unlucky brackets for foreigners actually, the 3 real foreigners hopes being in the korean part of the bracket. does anyone what VERDI's level is on HotS? is he fraer-scary or just a good run? he used to be good on WoL and then kinda disseapared, quite a surprise to see him there.

Of coure I won't, if that day happens I'll be no where to be found. But in the mean time, I will very smugly mock the smug mockery.
oh my gawd! :o Good day for foreigners today. I can't wait until MC gets back into shape and starts ripping nerds' limbs off again though He is quite the show man. I didn't watch any games today, only some Incontrol laughing about TLO and how everyone knows he's a nice guy, but is not yet ready to win a big tourney. TLO apparently was right in front of him and left ) And then Artosis made quite the reverse prediction and said TLO would definitely win his group. I'm glad Incontrol was right.
Are there any crazy games/stories so far ? I have the day off tomorrow and I really want to get back into Starcraft 2 and this tourney seems to have a lot of stories :D

Verdi has very good unit control and a variaty of all in builds, but he can't play late game (at least I've never seen it, and I've seen him in a couple of tournaments plus his stream) to save his life. I could easily see him beating Jaedong though, but I don't know how his nerves will be and if he will cope.

He has good enough all-ins with quite good micro to beat Jaedong if Jaedong plays as terrible against all-ins as he always does.
Currently he's scarier in HotS than fraer but in general he isn't nearly as good as fraer was from let's say April to November 2012. He has a good run here, he had some decent runs in tournaments in the past (IESF) but he has some critical weaknesses.
