The manager said the lag from KR to EU was too much for them in some games and that Sting and Sortof were on a plane on the first page so I guess that has something to do with it

Hey faiza, we're doing a good job, you don't think ? :p

I think you guys are seriously underestimating sfc. All of our players who played yesterday are grandmaster players, I don't think Ptak even needs introductions to anyone who followed starcraft, and the simple fact that our team got invited to this tournament means something. I'm really sorry if WW had issues but nevertheles they fielded an impressive lineup and got all-killed. And the cw vs prop was very close, it could have easily went either way. Just because you "don't know about this team or its players" doesn't mean it's a bad team as we proved very much yesterday.
I think you will hear more about us in the future, and maybe then we will get some credit among the "hardcore" players who started watching sc2 2 weeks ago.

I wonder if someone has thought about having a dedicated observer that streams the video to a private server. Then, every caster can rebroadcast from the feed.
1) It stops the observer lags 2) Allows the caster to focus on his casting 3) Fail-safe if an external caster drops

You can make a rule that if the observer drops you remake the game or you add some kind of redundancy.
Edit: And obviously, the observer should have a better connection. For example in Dreamhack, the observer would be on-site.
