That has happened to so many teams already, even with EG having most of the best foreigners they would be weak in the global scene without JYP, Puma, Revival and Jaedong. I hope they will continue trying hard in Korea and expand their lineup to include more B teamers/practice partners and maybe some good teamless players like Alive or Oz. Well i wouldn't say from the ground up. They basically buy players that are doing well atm/are popular. Nothing wrong with that but not much players you can really say that are EG grown compared to other teams. After Suppy i was kinda hoping for some more EG grown players and then they suddenly bought Stephano and Jaedong. PuMa, JYP, Revival weren't exactly household names when EG bought them. JD was the only 'big name' koreans they bought. PuMa was on the edge of becoming TSL's ace when EG picked him up, if I recall correctly. Part of the reason why the TSL coach was so furious.

Rivival you have a point but the other 2 were exactly picked when they looked strongest.

Actually, it was confirmed that Puma was signed a week prior to NASL finals.
And JYP was signed just before the Code S qual.
Still valid that they go after players in their prime, but what you said is not the truth.
