As the 2013 IPTL Season 1 steams ahead for it's finish, it's time for IPL to bring you the Playoffs and Up & Down matches to both determine the winner and who earns the $9,000 in prize money and who will move down to Contender, and who will ascend to Premier. The winners of the playoff matches will also receive 6 seeds into the WoL Main Bracket and paid trips to IPL 6!.
Playoff Schedule:
EG v LG-IM: February 26th
StarTale v MVP: February 27th
When: Wednesday, Feb 27 12:00am GMT (GMT+00:00) (we will also rebroadcast repeatedly afterwards!)
Format
The playoff teams battle for the $9,000 and a trip to IPL 6. Here is the prize distribution:

IM obviously favored, like they are against every other team. I hope we get to see a mostly foreign lineup from EG, with Suppy, Thorzain and Demu.
Prediction 5-2 to IM.

Revival has been struggling vs Protoss, so I think First will win the opening game, especially since it's on Ohana. This is going to be really hard for EG, JD and JYP must be really on top of their game to give EG a fighting chance. However, I have a feeling IM wins 5-0 or 5-1.

I wonder which 6 players IM is going to send to IPL6, they have so many now. Hopefully Squirtle ^_^

IM is too stacked. I would love to see the team try their hand at SPL, and see how they do.

It's pretty funny that these are the same semifinals as last time. Obviously IM should win. I hope Startale does too, I would love a rematch in the finals. And a rewin by Startale!

IM's depth and skill overwhelms EG. They have a top-class list of players who could defeat anything EG throws at them.

I would love to see Life and Curious carry their team the same way Squirtle and Parting did last time. Probably not likely, MVP and IM are more stacked. But a boy can dream.

StarTale's best player didn't even get to play the last time around 
I predict a quick 5-0 by First. Revival and JD are somewhat weak in ZvP, and I reckon First can take on Stephano and JYP as well. At best, I can see this series going to 7 games; IM is just too stacked for EG.

I doubt that EG will pull this off they need Stephano to go on a rampage if they want to win and even then they need someone else to pull their weight.

+ Show Spoiler +Unless there are more qualifiers that they haven't announced he didn't qualify for the HotS or WoL tournament, I guess It's possible that he's going to the HotS open bracket or was an invite to the HotS tournament but I find it more likely they beat EG
