Nothing that much convincing imo. TY went for fast triple CC and Best didn't scout it and didn't go for a fast aggression. TY scouted colo tech at the right moment and didn't do any notable mistake so he can easily win with his superior economy.

It appears that in HotS, whoever has more voidrays is the winner. So, expect to see a lot of blue lasers instead of the red ones you're seeing right now.

To be fair, when you have the same units, a lot of times, it comes down to who has more (although micro/postioning can be a factor sometimes). HoTS has more options for PvP but it can still come down to who has more Voidrays. With Voidrays, positioning and concave mean even less.

Yup, once you get to 8-9 colossi, it comes down to who can get the most colossi and immortals firing. A lot of the engagements are won due to 2-3 units not firing at the beginning of the engagement. That is why Rain is so good here. His control is so good that he almost always has all his units in firing range at the beginning of the engagement.

it's just not as entertaining as some other tournaments.... it could be the casting or the production in general (and that annoying MIND MIND MIND commercial on repeat). I think if you don't have the league pass, the twitch commercial gets played a million times so the viewers that want to watch for free get super annoyed.
I'm looking forward to OSL and how they do.

Err... literally NOT the same builds. Jaehoon opened blink, Rain opened fast expand with robo. Completely different early~mid game unit compositions.
I think you mean almost the same late-game unit compositions. But, this is pretty much the same with every mirror match-up because it's a mirror match-up. Even TvT is a transition into the same compositions. It's just a matter of who transitions "better."

Yeah, Brood War was Bo5 including an ace match. There was one season where KeSPA forced teams to field all three races every match. That season had more mirrors than ever before.

I think we've had 3 of 4 complete mirror days so far this season, it's crazy. TvT is the only consistently good mirror. ZvZ is only fun when it is wacky and aggressive, while PvP is only fun when there is cheese.

I'm expecting PvP in HotS to be a bit better. And well as you say, in mirror m-u who has more normally wins, it's the same in other mirror match-ups imo. And I'm pretty sure they're will be some nice micro with mothership core or even tempests or phoenix.

But haha realistically I think he'll improve by leaps and bounds once HOTS is fully released. There's no other reason for his being benched, considering he showed a lot of improvement in his play last season. Its a game of math I think. If you can say that out of 10 times your 15 cc will work 8 times without having early game issues and thus usually putting you in an advantageous position over your opponent, do it. The 2 times might be one losing immediately and one time being either on even ground or behind. I think its still reasonable to do without scouting.
Same goes for nexus first etc. The risk/reward ratio for that matter (in my opinion) is not worth being less greedy.

cure has a lot of army but doesn't have super good upgrades and invested into so many helions early on but Didn't go mech so he doesn't have blue flame and also has late tanks,
both players maxed and omg s2 attacks and with nice fungals manages to take out most of cure's army. cure was totally unprepared for the ultralisks.... lol
but a nice drop take out all the drones at the 3rd and cure is on 4 base so this game is still on!
