Was thinking the same thing, it's not in the TL calendar and I cannot find any info about any stream. Is it going to be announced some Azubu.tv stream or something?
Edit: I believe I'm onto something here: http://www.azubu.tv/ it says "Click to enter the ACL" (Azubu Collegiate League is what they seem to call it). Unless ACL isn't CSL...
On Saturday, February 16th, 2013 we will see which team goes home with $40,000 and the title of SC2 Collegiate Champions! You can follow the action on the “official CSL stream”:http://www.twitch.tv/cstarleague starting at 11:00am PST!
Is there something I need to do to get this player to work? Made sure my flashblock was disabled... All I'm seeing is the sidebar with the channels and such, player is just black.

Hit the detail icon and then you can change the video quality, maximize, etc. Took me a bit to figure out, so I agree the design is poor.
This is pretty hard to watch, the page isn't even scaled properly? No popout option? Sound dodgy as all fuck, randomly turning on and off? Man this platform still has a long way to go x_x

I also had sound on and off. But no problem with video in chrome browser. Besides some how at a point I was looking on previous video, and have to click on "live" to get stream again.

Click the detail icon and it pops out to a normal video.

A greedy Protoss build?
Maybe, but I think it might just be inefficient. Maybe I'm missing something, but I think the 150 minerals would be much more worthwhile in the early game. But I'm not a Protoss and he's better than I am, so who am I to judge?
can i be honest...? very horrible production team...
changed the player names twice on top of the screen and still was wrong -______________- kinda annoying how we cant see the bottom of the screen because of giant College names....
Don't quote me on this but I think the production team is the one working for NASL. And they have been doing great imo lately so there must be some serious problems going on.
Is anyone having any problems trying to even view the stream? It's not loading at all, I clicked anything I could make it work, and nothing is working. : \
I am surprisingly liking this series. The players aren't progamers (I think, except for Suppy) but so far the games are decent and liking the production too. Kinda feels like the AHG or Lone Star Clash but smaller. Good job CSL.
What happened to the stream? I just realized that it's one of those instant replayable streams which is cool but Day9 and Megumi have been talking about "ling something, hellion something" for a few minutes now...

Experienced the same with chrome. Tried Firefox and the stream is working.
Washington suffered the same fate Berkeley did last season in the playoffs - if you play your best two players last, you risk getting 4-0'd and never having them played
Neither Kawaii and Caliber played, it was a 4-0 and they were spots 5 and 6. Maybe putting them earlier would inspired the team but they needed one point from the rest of the team anyway so it doesn't actually effect who wins if they don't play, just the score.
you absolutely can't leave your best two players in the last two slots. horrible decision by Washington, dunno who's coming up with the lineups over there but that's mighty questionable...Absolutely need to guarantee getting a set or two on the board. One of your best players NEEDS to at the very least be playing in slot 4 in case it's been 0-3 up till then. keeping aces in 5/6 puts so much extra pressure on the 4th set player if it's gone 0-3 till then.
edit: of course I don't really know the other Washington players so I'm sure they may have had their reasons, but still...fuck.

Is it just me, or does the set they're casting from look like someone borrowed a section of desk from the NASL? (The metal framed panel look.) It's kindof generic, I think IPL and EG have similar looking caster desks.
It's TIME! The final match in the Azubu Collegiate Champions - SC2: UC Berkeley vs. Chunnam Techno U! NA vs. Korea! We'll return to our regularly scheduled program at 6:00pm PT!

What was up with the 3./4. map, the teams decided to not care about a 5k difference in prizepool - or was it split 7.5k for each team? Otherwise UW-Washington probably threw 5k away .

There's no difference between losing 4-2 and 4-0.
A loss is a loss, but what he is getting at is more the pressure that is being put on their fourth string guy. I also think it would be beneficial to play on of the trumps early to garner some confidence, unless the maps for game 1-4 sucked for the trump cards :-).

Unless you might turn one of those four losses into a win by having a quick 1-0 or 2-0 lead as LuckyFool is asserting. In this situation in which I think you can count on the LighT duo as guarantees, I think playing them early is the right call.

He's their only other GM besides Suppy I think, so I don't think that was it. I think his sense of the game was completely backwards and he thought he was the one who was massively behind.

He thought he was behind. We are all GM.
Yes and what?
EDIT: Holy shit are you the guy about to play then?? Sorry, my info from that showmatch with PoltU was wrong then. I apologize.

Let's say the Washington puts their aces in set 4 and 5 instead of the current alignment. The score is 3-2, all the pressure will be on the set 6 player. I really can't see how there's a difference.

I think the only benefit is if you play them 1-2 and hopefully go up 2-0 and take whatever momentum may exist. Any other alignment, I agree with you.

Either he got a LOT better in 1 month or hes deliberately playing bad on his main, because I'm about 200 off GM and I play against him as slightly favored all the time.

Hmm I really feel like you guys should not read the thread, it could be demoralizing because of armchair quarterbacks...
So sick from Dayal, that was a really smart overlord scout timing that gave him the chance to hold. He must have smelled that something was up. Things are looking pretty good for Berkeley now!
On February 17 2013 13:54 phodacbiet wrote: Come on now CSL -.- why do you have so many difficulties
It's because it's the maiden voyage of AzubuTV (beta). When it's working, though, it seems like a really high performance platform (very little latency/buffering before playing, really high quality/bit-rate).
Well, that was pretty amazing. Hope Suppy can handle that, I think he can considering he nearly beat Parting, but we'll see. Such a good series though!
I would like to claim this as a partial victory for the Canadian schools, as well, because we have a North American CSL champion! WHOO HOO! Way to go USA and UC Berkeley
And mad props to Chunnam, too. So good and so cool
Ya I know we are all geeky 21st century guys but its still Collegiate so to celebrate and cap it off lets at least once play the Cal Bears fight song! I don't think we're too cool for that. lol
Just finished watching the VOD. AWESOME! Hell yeah, USA fighting!!! EG.Suppy.RC being a total boss. Awesome and fun games today. Can't wait for next year!
