7 iirc. It's a nice touch!

Nice opening advantage to Parting. It's his game to lose now. Not sure what BB is doing.

Isn't Akilon one of the maps where two of the towers die off at a certain time?

Edit: Yup

Bullshit. HyuN. King of the world due to B09's

not bullshit, I know what i'm talking about.:/

Bo7s are tiring Bo9's are worse.

Bo5 pushes players to the limit without completely exhausting them by the time they reach Game 5.

i'm not sure the tiring effect of a best of 9 should be understood as a disadvantage for players who practice 12 hours a day. it even requires a different kind of skillshet because you're not likely to win as big bart of your games with weird builds and gimmicks.

Hyun beat everyone with solid macro that is really impressive

weird builds and gimmicks are a part of the game, you can't always hang on your good macro, limiting the series to a Bo5 gives you the best of everything, it gives you a chance to do a whole lot more even with what seems less.

its a completely different feeling being in the booth than in the practice house I can assure you that.

no. you don't have a solid argument just the misty " it gives you a chance to do a whole lot more even with what seems less"

best of 5s are only good for people who can prepare 3 really good builds that rely on being unpredicted, and that's it.

the longer the series are the more players rely on fundamentals and i'm cool with that since you can cheese as much as you want there too but the opponent has the chance to get to read your style.

and no stamina is not a problem to these guys, if they have nerve issues that's a different matter. a day of mlg is a hundred times more exhausting than best of 9 series. doesn't matter which booth they're in, if they have nerve issues they have them while playing in best of 3s and best of 243212331s either.

If you prefer 7 games in a row that plays out exactly the same with no-rush-15 and then all end when two big blobs crash to gether in an inferno of lazers and beach balls that's fine. But I'm pretty sure you're in the minority.

that's a pretty weird translation of what I wrote. what the hell does no rush 15 have to do with anything i wrote?

Sting vs leenock, cheese in literally every game and still it was a very good series.

Also parting didn't even use the highground by his natural at all and B4 didn't have any overlords to spot up there.

the longer the series goes, the more closer to ladder games it will be. That's why weekly tournament don't differ to ladder in term of builds/gameplay and that people who're excellent on the ladder (and zergs) are really good at them.

it's not the length, it's the ability to know who you're playing. even if it's a best of 31 you can prepare 16 builds if you have the time and put the effort in... nothing like in a ladder game.

you're example is so bad because despite being totally unrealistic (or give them 3months to prepare the final) you still have 15ladder builds if you play the 31games.
Just look at the IPL fightclub there are almost 0 specific strats prepared.

oh and a Bo5 does not let you know who you're playing, a player's adaptability is limited, constantly adapting during an important series is tiring, yes it would be nice to see how much they are getting the better of each other each game but the longer the series goes it becomes less about who is adapting better and more about who is adapting worse.

by the way if you only care about fundamentals, literally ever korean pro whos in the A-team of a proteam is considered to be equal fundmentally by their peers and coaches its cutthroat world for them.
