you dont need to follow LR thread to realize theres still a few terrible players in Code S, in which one is Noblesee

Well, it is a catch 22 for the terran. You can't leave too much for defense or else your push is tiny and it just gets crushed. The speed difference between a zerg army on creep vs mech army which has to siege is just so big. Especially with the creep spread of these top zergs.

After the infestor nerfs, we have seen some new style of zerg which mainly just spreads creep like crazy and the terran struggles to get a fourth.


Sadly, that style was also the standard months ago

So, is TaeJa completely off practice for a while, or is it like on and off? Poor guy TT

I'd rather watch 10 bunkers rushes/banneling busts that 10 5 bases versus 5 bases, it's so damn boring.

SC2 should have an upkeep system like in WC3 to prevent 200/200 battles, it's just not fun.


This is Starcraft and not Warcraft 3. If you like WC3 more, then it's ok. but other than you, noone is interested to make SC2 into a WC3 clone...


I didn't watch WC3 pro games, i'm just saying that the upkeep system is an interesting way to improve the overall tactic on a game.



All it does is force low econ games. It's interesting in WC3 because you've got heroes, but in SC2 it doesn't make any sense. There are a lot of better ways to force smaller engagements (eg. buff splash). I think HotS is a small step in the right direction at least, but a LR thread isn't really the place for that (I don't even know why I'm replying to this lol).

Basically only zerg can abuse it. Terran has to build up an army and resources so they will lose out the most on upkeep as there is no way for them to swing forward in production in huge swings. Current PvZ (excluding the soul push) is basically 3 base timings. The upkeep would kill the timing. Zerg by its very design is made to focus everything on economy and then army. With the larvae inject mechanic, zerg can basically keep a stock of potential units with none of the setbacks that upkeep is supposed to give them.

NesTea isn't slumping as hard as he was a few months ago. Still below his prime, but I'd say he's on the up at the moment.

I don't think Nestea is in a slump anymore. He was playing quite well at Ironsquid and in the Up&Down Matches.

He is not back at championship-level of play but he is also far from playing bad at the moment
Just ahead of time, know your addiction's not a crime. It's just a smaller part of who you want to become in the end.
