Dropping like that only works when you massively out-supply the Protoss, if you don't have banelings. That's why it worked in the end, he had almost 100 supply over Stork. Very strange game. I don't know why Stork decided not to build an expansion again.

yeah it worked but.... for other reasons....
what wuld u do against collossi lol drop teh hydras on teh collossi
It's actually good when they have alot of sentries, also he didnt have colossus and was aware of it, so he probably wouldnt have dropped if he knew a colossus was there. Not that hard.

Stork would have absolutely crushed that game had he simply built a nexus during his attack instead of 3 extra Stalkers. He also let Hydras 4th live WAYY too long after scouting it... and still never killed it.

And it was kinda the only way he could attack, with FF a frontal attack is almost impossible and the creep was to bad for a flank.
i have a theory that every time roro goes for infestors first he does way better, we'l see. i think he should win his match but cloud kingdom is very strong for terran if they play it standard and solid
edit: also a lot of the spl terran have been using 2 factory blue flame, this is one of the few remaining maps you can actually hide a tech like that from Z pretty easily

That's not so much a theory as it is the most obvious thing ever.

dont be so one dimensional, zergs have shown a lot of vvariation in gameplay lately especially in gsl, mutas, speed roaches, nydus, etc are all gaining popularity.. infestors just like all of the units have different strengths and weakness

That's a new development :p. Infestor is definitely still the standard and smart way to go about any matchup however much I love leenock's weirdness.

yeah but none of mutas, roaches, nydus is as safe as infestor. Most of what you said are old and figured out so it's not too hard to deal with. Other races simply don't have much answer against infestor. As a terran player I have to agree that without infestor, Zerg is fairly weak compare to the others.
Hmm, I appreciate Roro wanting to build up his infrastructure behind that attack, but I really think he could have won outright if he had just committed.

Every time I see this cinematic I wonder what sc2 would be like if all the units were to scale. BCs and Carriers would be like your whole screen. Is there a UMS map for that yet?

Check Grubby vs MC, game 5 from IEM. Nothing really counters phoenix in PvP so they just keep massing them up. Very entertaining!
Well Archons do but It's almost impossible to tech to Archons and get a decent amount out without falling behind in the phoenix count and getting killed before you can get enough of them out.

Here is VoD for those interested! Artosis and Kaelaris cast, with Kaelaris getting a bit emotional at the end

Well, in the early/mid game, you can get aggressive with zealot/stalkers and just kill the base of the phoenix protoss since they have their resources in phoenix. But once they have a critical number (probably around 12+), they start countering stalkers. So at that point, it just becomes a phoenix war.

I don't understand why CJ is sending this player, surely even with his recent failures BByong is a better option.... And what about Songduri? He's got to be better too..
Well it's to bad rare fucked up hard...not much to say about him, pretty bad player hope we see him very rare in the future.Anyway c'mon effort lets do it again!
Great that Khan won! Didn't think they'll take it tbh once Jangbi and Stork lost their games and Effort just won his but I guess I was wrong lol. Good day ^_^

This, so much this. The commentary is horrendous, i had to mute them during the Argo vs Free game in the Stars vs T8 match. On the bright side, KHAN auto-vote and anti-TL vote alone got me like 130 spots up in the rankings :D.

^Hahaha at the FPL.
But yeah, man. It's so damned disappointing because the korean PL commentators were fucking awesome in BW. Then they just gave us this poop on a stick for English. It's such a shame Tastosis is locked in to GOM .

Give TL/KeSPA the money to hire professional ones. Apparently they were quite stingy about it, which is why everyone else refused the jig.
I just realized that if you swich STX and Woongjing in Fionns preview ranking, the four highest teams in his ranking are the four lowest in the actual PL ranking. And it is true the other way around of course, the four best teams in this ranking are the four teams in the bottom of the actual ranking.
