That many forcefields massacre any ground army without massive units.

Does Stephano usually go pure roach to hold immortal all ins? Thought that part was pretty interesting.

Stephano had the game won at the beginning but overcommitted to roach hydra at the 3rd. And then he was fucked. If Stephano had the game "won" from the beginning then he would have won with his signature roach bust which failed. Argo broke him down and played super patiently to get out the composition worthy of dealing with Stephanos roach mass. No, stephano doesn't 200 roach max anymore...he hasn't done that for like 6 months. He made the roaches in response to the sentry immortal stalker push. Held it, and denied the 3rd. Argo didn't do anything but land good forcefields. That's literally all he did. Stephano fucked that game up. You're giving Argo too much credit.
Edit: He was making more Hydra's then roaches in the midgame...that's not a roach bust...>_>

Ah I disagree. When he held that 2 base attack he was far ahead (he had +2 attack, jaehoon had NO upgardes, he had a third base, he could have taken a 4'th while teching to infestors and he would have won that game easy peasy imo).

Argo was smart after that. He pulled back and went into defensive mode without being greedy or taking his 3rd too early. It was really nice play by Argo and it was obvious he had studied Stephano's past games.

sigh sigh sigh stephano. he was MASSIVELY ahead right after defending the all-in, just zip straight to hive ASAP and win ez He stubbornly refused to make infestors that game. He probably still would have won, but Argo made all the right FF's and controlled every engagement. Again, it's not that he refused, it's that he COULDN'T after losing so badly at Jaehoons third. The game was pretty much lost there unless Jaehoon went into Failhoon mode and forgot to press FFFFFF.

is Jaehoon still T8's captain?
|
Stephano was being a bit cocky here. But there is also the fact that infestor are now a lot less valuable versus protosses with the new patch (i.e IEM Katowice)

Btw, for the past 2 weeks, Jaehoon is 6-3 against Effort, HerO[join], Stats, Fantasy, Rain, Soo, Bogus, Jaedong, Stephano.
Now go beat the late toss and make it 7-3!

Let me break it down for you. Stephano had no chance to make a Hive because he couldn't bank enough gas to produce hive tech units. Argo could have attacked Stephano and won if he had went for Hive tech because he would have had to sacrifice Roach/Hydra production. Argo kept tabs on Stephanos lair with the warp Prism and Zealots in the main base. So, you people that are claiming that he was "too stubborn to make infestor" or would have won "ez if he went straight to hive" are overlooking these strategical elements. Stephano had no chance to go for either due to the situation he was in.
