I wrote this on the previous page but it got the unforunate 20th spot so let's try this again: I think we might be attributing too much of todays results to the most recent patch. I don't think many of these great PvZ's were really impacted by the patch. Gotta consider other factors like Socke's form today. He's been beasting all day today and the series against Nerchio for example was more of Socke's clean micro and decision making rather than this one attack by Nerchio on Socke's third where the IT's didn't do much damage against the 3/3 zealots if you know what I mean.

Sure close games are often better to watch than clean yet boring games, but I wouldn't call these games "great." It just isn't the right adjective to describe these.. ladder-like games.

Fall of the patchzergs. i cant wait for when these people who people call "patchzergs" stay relevant after zerg is nerfed so people actually give them respect.

Things that seem small can snowball really fast. For example in the clutch defense by Nerchio just now, if ITs were stronger when Nerchio tried to defend the first attack wave by Verdi, he might have slowed it down faster and might thus have hold faster, so we wouldn't have had that amazing back and forth. It's speculating and maybe exaggerated, but my point is that it might have had subtle influences that have a bigger effect than one might assume.
