Life holds with incredible tenacity, and the same Protosses that were just saying "amazing forcefields" are right back to "lol winfestors kill everything".
Standard LR, both sides whine and then there's the people whining about the whining.
And the people whining about the people whining about the people whining!

Someone will probably lynch you for that, but I agree with you.
doing the same all-in in the same matchup doesn't make you a revolutionist, it just makes you a bit-by-bit without the scvs
This. Bisu created a safe opening with multiple tech branches. Parting made one entire build and made sure everyone would see it everytime in his and every other Toss's games against Z. That ain't a revolution, it seems like a new kind of fascist regime for Toss players.
Do you prefer to try going lategame and die to Broodlord infestor? For those QQing: 1) this build was made to avoid the incredibly overpowered zerg lategame. 2) no one executes this build as well as parting. 3) this is totally counterable, and not relying on coinflips like Protoss vs infestorbroodlord 4) at least its much more interesting than snoozefest of lategame PvZ knowing the Z will win anyways. 5) yes, we know there shouldnt be unbeatable builds. too bad. #hoping for hots
Lol. You seem quite offended as well. I think both late PvZ and this mid-game immortal-sentry all-in are stupid. And as good as Parting is (I do believe he's a good player), he ain't no revolutionist.
Why go around assuming others are offended and pretending that you won an argument? I just responded to you, and you respond by saying exactly what I said in my post.
Okay, okay. Take it easy. Sorry, I misread your post. Anyway, it's still my opinion that I just don't like either of these scenarios. And it just irritates me to have to see this or the other case in every PvZ. Plus, most of my negativity was in response to these claims that Parting is some sort of revolutionist (in the vein of Bisu). Well, he's an amazing player but he isn't a revolutionist.
Still watching the games though. Cheers.
wink smiley smiley smiley
That's hilarious. Lol. Good one.
I wonder if Parting's gonna go for the train again. Just to prove a point.

I don't even play zerg and that looks hard as hell to hold if not done perfectly
It took a GSL champion to hold it. And a GSL champion just lost to it a round ago. Anyway, PvZ man. I'll stop complaining.
Great play from both players. Nice hold by Life. I wasn't sure if he could transition out of it but great engagement to kill the first colo. That was huge.
A GSL champion to combat with another GSL champion? Holy shit batman, somebody give this man an award.
Parting is not a GSL Champion unless I'm forgetting something.
Lol, "LTE" GSL booth? Because LTE = speed? Heh heh. I also find this ironic because I just got my (LG made) Nexus 4 up and running today on Canadian LTE (not officially supposed to work)! *woot*

1. Make Infestors 2. Micro everything you have 3. Play well 4. Counter-attack 5. Play well 6. Win
Edit: We may not like watching Infestors, but Life did not "just make infestors" that game. He held well with more than that.
"Hey, life deserved to win. He played amazingly well".
Yeah, it's funny though. When parting plays like a god (the god*), he wins because immortal/sentry is imba, but when Life wins a game with infestor/ling, people shouldn't be allowed to go "infestors imba"? Zerg bias at its best :D
I actually don't think immortal/sentry is imbalanced, I think it's imbalanced when Parting does it because he is so freaking good D:

Rather: "It took a GSL champion to hold an all-in from a double World Champion and the best Protoss player in the world at the moment."

WHOAH LIFE DEFENDED, what do you say now?
the point is not that it is undefetable, come on, no one is buying Parting's trash talk. but when you win 90% of the time when your opponent scouts what you are doing at the perfect time, then it needs to be talked about. I am of the opinion that if you know an all-in is coming and prepare for it well, you should crush it. if you can't, the match-up becomes broken. I'm a toss player, right now the matchup is 100 PERCENT based around this build. that's not good.
Uh... no it isn't. He won with a phoenix opening and he's won several times with macro builds in PvZ. I never immortal-sentry in PvZ on ladder (Masters) and I win most of my PvZ without going all-in. Stop talking out of your ass and making shit up in your imaginary world.

If he could do that and be ahead PvZ would most likely be broken. You actually can't afford to do that, You have to kill the zerg with it, otherwise your tech becomes outdated and you have nothing to answer for the swarm of units coming for you immediately afterwards.
Yeah infested terrans can kill you if you don't have aoe
So you don't think if he teched and made a third as soon as he got to Life's base and realized what Life was doing he wouldn't have been ahead? I disagree, he banked up 2k+ gas during his push, with 2k gas protoss can make a lot of aoe.

He held it from the skin of his teeth. I doubt it will work the second time.. because it looked like as if parting was sort of confused for sometime til he decided to elevator. I think he should have done it earlier from the get go instead of brute forcing into spines.
You forget about fungal, not to mention that you can't elavator 3 immortals and like 10 sentries without losing a lot.
