Taeja played really well, JYP is clutch, and Jaedong is awesome. with Revival, Zenio, Puma, and Stephano, this team should be theoretically unbeatable. I still expect great things in the future, but they have to step it up. I agree, I love huk and thorzain but even with the hero fail, we would've seen our first win had any of the four players mentioned been used instead of the two. But I guess this speaks more to EG-TL's goals. Are they here to win or are they here to pull in more sponsors? You're seriously deluded if you think Zenio would've made a difference. 'Theoretically unbeatable'...not knowing most of the kespa players doesn't mean they're walkovers. I see a roster with some great players and some very mediocre ones, a small coaching staff and a team training environment (if there even is one) that's almost certainly not as productive and well-oiled as those of the kespa teams. Excuses like they were just trying to draw sponsors is silly, winning draws sponsors. I know the Kespa players well enough to know that EG-TL has a really strong roster, possibly unmatched right now by the Kespa teams (in terms of solid achievement in SC2).
I don't think they're trying to draw sponsers at the expense of winning, I think they just lost a match they totally could've won, even with the players they sent out.

People are really overreacting to this. OMG EG-TL lost again?!
Combination of HerO getting sniped (by a far lesser opponent) and questionable picks of Huk and Thorzain made this match be decided in the ace match really. And the match between herO[jOin] and Taeja is pretty even I think (since Taeja isn't the monster in TvP that he used to be).
All in all, gg wp and looking forward to seeing even better results from EG-TL.

JAEDONG!! <3
wasn't pretty by any means, but it was jd beating a strong terran

Sadly the video goes out of Sync again with the casters, but I guess thats what happens when the casters aren't live at the event. I+ Show Spoiler + know Taeja's feels. The disgust of losing to protoss like that even with blanket EMP's on the ramp, True he wasbehind in upgrades. Upgrades too strong -_- lol. Other than that great series, so close by EG-TL.

Coach is to blame I think lol. After seeing this match, I believe that EGTL has the best potential out there. And is a killer team in all-kill format. can't wait to see.

Is there a reason that Sea isn´t there? I would rate him above both thorzain and huk and he has experiece with the proleague environment.

EffOrt got a Code A Seed and lost. rare qualified but ends up losing to Hack. And herO isn't much better either. TaeJa and HerO are vastly superior to anyone in CJ.
The main difference between the 2 teams is that CJ has been doing PL for their whole career and are more than prepared for the situation. The format is very peculiar and the maps are unconventional.

Some of these maps are weird as hell. Interesting to watch, but weird.
As for Zenio and Sea, Thorzain's just suffering from nerves and unfamiliarity with the map pool. He's a very deliberate player with every building placed more or less where he thinks it is best. He's also been sent out, in his weakest match up, twice, on completely new maps.
People seem surprised when BW players win on maps they're actually familiar with :p Put them on old converted WC3 maps and see how long they last against Thorzain and Grubby.
