so uh do we not like hero or something lol We are rating the game, not the players. usually with hero, whenever he loses no matter how good the game is, hero fans downvote it I don't think hero fans watch proleague Barely anyone watches pro league, based on this twitch viewercount I'm getting. 17k at 3:40 AM is amazing, lol. What are you smoking? This beats almost any day of GSL when they were on Twitch exclusively for english casting. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Time_zone

No, strategic depth is developed when existing strategies are played out in relation to new ones. This generates the layers of strategy that constitutes the metagame. When the metagame is non-existent, everything is gimmick, and strategy is shallow. There is no depth. Why are you so against different trends on different maps? There is no reason the trends (you call it metagame) should be the same in every match and new trends only develop in response to standard play. There is a lot of depth in having to play different styles to take advantage of maps. The current boredom I get from ladder is largely because almost every game opens the same, especially when a Zerg is involved because the map-pool is to encourage 'macro' games.

So you're implying that every non-GSL map do not allow the metagame to play out? That is ridiculous, new maps are fine. Not wonky maps though, not for a legitimate competitive game. So the "metagame playing out" = the same strategies on every single map. Right. Please go away and let us have an interesting game.

Hydra had hours upon hours of HerO replays to look at. HerO not only knew very little of Hydra, he had very little time to prepare.

Am I the only person that doesn't have a clue what this is supposed to actually mean?

JYP is far far better than Puma...

It sucks that EG-TL is gonna lose if Effort wins...but fuck it, go Effort!
|
Regardless of who they send out CJ will send hero[join] likely, who has been showing pretty strong PvP throughout hybrid proleague (taking out rain at one point if I'm not mistaken) and could probably put up great fight against Taeja.
I have a feeling Effort is going to put up a real fight despite any statistics. Effort is a world-class player.
