What the hell do these people think of when they pick their builds? For god sake pick the stongest builds and play to your race's strengths. Don't try and play lategame PvZ when your teammate just won 100k off of Immortal pushes.

FXO is so strong, back to back GSTL finals. super impressive ;o

now they just need a GSL champion.

Leenock is supposed to be one ;(

This season was his best shot, man. Him and MKP.

It's too bad.

yeah, this weird ass GSL has ruined that.

Yeah, Leenock clearly isn't skilled at all and just effortlessly a-moved around the map. Oh wait, that's totally not true. My bad.

Actually, that's pretty much what he did. Granted, adding overlord drop and 3 hotkey groups makes the job harder, but that was nothing compared to the vigilance Squirtle needed to have just the right blinks, guardian shields, and FFs at the right place and the right time.

Not a good year for Mr. Squirtle.

he's had a great year imo, taking a lot of high placements.

good year in terms of winning a title.

few players actually take titles though, squirtle is a top5 protoss and top10 player this year in terms of success imo, which is pretty good in my book :D

Abyssal City is a horrible map for protoss to play a macro game. The 3rd is so open, you can't hold it with force fields.
If you don't like it, you can quit.

But seriously they should take out Abyssal City from the GSL and put in Muspelheim!

Well if you say so, it must be true.

Was a top 1 Protoss from January to May, no title is pretty bad considering that.

Good counterargument. Can I get lessons from your school of rhetoric, o wise one? -_-

Startale had the chance to eliminate such a map. Though they didn't pick their maps well enough prior to the game vs Leenock. Apparently Squirtle felt more comfortable on Abyssal City than either Whirlwind or Lagoon.

That's why we see this style every ZvP? Right? Because it's a free win and so easy to execute?

There is a reason it's a rarely played style..

I think he should've just done a 2 base all-in, but who am I to judge.
