Nani is through, but this we already knew (well I did) and it does not change Retjes behavior, at all. Man I've followed you since your BW run though Korea, didn't think this of you Ret. Oh well, reals fans don't give up so easily, and I won't, but you better spoon Naz tonight!

Source please, and don't use the outdated dreamhack bracket, Apollo, or liquipedia.

What would have happened if Ret won 2 - 1?

OK, apologies to Ret!

I trusted Apollo's statement supposed to be backed by an admin, who might've just trusted that admin, who seemed to have no idea in the end.
It's still not the best promotion for him or his team, but that's a thing he has to decide for himself!

See everyone calm the f down and stop harassing Ret now, geez this community is ridiculous! Always jumping to the worst conclusions...

The admins wrote Apollo and he said if Ret loses that game NE is through over Naniwa. So it's quite understandable most of us thought while watching that Ret is unfairly throwing the game. Not everybody takes a break in watching, tries to figure out tie rules and do the math themselves when there was such a definite sounding clearcut answer given over the stream.

God all you people having figured that out earlier, get over yourselves. You all know how this misunderstanding developed and now you just want to feel superior.

In any case, the only one that got screwed here is Ret, cause 98% of tens of thousands of viewers thought he is throwing a game unfairly.

Not only that but it shouldn't matter whether Ret throwing the game affects the results or not. It didn't when Naniwa did it and look at the shitstorm that caused.

He is not getting fucked over. Stop making up stuff to create more drama.

Of course Naniwa adavances as he has the better map score for the games between 3 tied players. Completely normal that naniwa advances. Anything else would mean that someone is getting fucked over.

Nani 3-2

Ret did nothing wrong, he played a meaningless game out in a meaningless way. It's Dreamhacks fault that meaningless games have to be played, not Ret's. It's also Dreamhacks fault that nobody understood it was meaningless because the casters were getting the wrong information.

But he did in fact threw the game, it just didn't matter.

That's totally fine. You are welcome to criticize him for that. But many people think incorrectly that Ret throwing game 2 had a bearing on nightend/naniwa going on, and that is NOT true. Personal opinions aside, people should be made aware of the facts.

wait a second. Sase is already out but Bly and Fraer are still fighting for it. Or rather Sase is fighting against Fraer for Bly.

Guys, pull your pitch forks out of Ret's body and put them towards Sase.
Just ahead of time, know your addiction's not a crime. It's just a smaller part of who you want to become in the end.

I'm a huge Naniwa fan and if it was Naniwa not advancing I'd say the same thing, this is the problem with Round Robin groups being played out like this, if theres no initiative for someone to advance then they wont ever play their A game thus giving someone a bit of a lucky advantage. Now specifically I'm not saying this situation alone is screwing NE over if anything it helped him however I feel like the system as a whole needs to take a different approach and account for things like this.
