There really needs to be a sticky post at the top of this thread telling everyone that ret throwing game 2 did not matter at all

So nightend didn't even know what was going on when Ret threw the game... feel ya man.

Guys there is a 3 player tie. Those 3 players are Naniwa, Nightend and ForGG.
Naniwa won 2-0 over ForGG
Nightend won 2-1 over Naniwa
ForGG won 2-1 over Nightend

See, the logical thing is Naniwa moves on.

Agreed. The only legitimate contending argument is that Forgg should be thrown out of the tiebreak pool because he only won 2 games. Then NE would win, because he won 2-1 over Naniwa.

This argument fails because after applying the internal map score three way tie breaker rule, Naniwa is crowned the winner 3-3 over NE's 3-2. Only if for some inexplicable reason DH decided to refrain from ruling before ForGG was removed would NE. Because this makes no sense (why have a tie break rule but then fail to apply to decide the winner) Naniwa move through.

because he doesnt give a shit about this tournament anymore because he is out and thats why bly has to suffer

this is far worse than MLG. At least at MLG nobody has to depend on players who are already out.

I think this is the way they decided, they took into account the map scores of these 3 just between themselves:

Naniwa: 3-2
NightEnd: 3-3
ForGG: 2-3

Tbh it doesn't matter if the game had an affect on the group outcome, throwing a match should be unacceptable at the pro level, just like when naniwa did it and we all got our panties in a knot. The match was streamed for thousands of people and it makes the player and DH look bad/unprofessional.

Regardless of it being quite a complicated set of results, it's bullshit that a player finds out he's eliminated by reading the TL thread, it's embarrassing how badly this has been handled.
