They should seriously just make a rule book. It isn't that hard.

Unless im mistaken Nightend 2-0 would make it a 3 why tie Nightend-Nani-Forgg

A 3 total tie, since nani beat forgg, forgg beat nightend, and nightend beat naniwa.

So i guess they will do some RPS as tiebreaker. A protoss shall pass.

No Nani advances

Nani won 2-0 over ForGG, whereas ForGG and Nightend won their games 2-1

Really ? So Nightend and forGG are screwed no matter what ?

yes

it's only between Nani and Ret

This is the interpretation I have, too.

making the last qualified played play all his games last seems like a pretty odd format -_-

I don't think it's percentage based. They're both -2 and then it's heads up that counts.

I meant that all other games were already finished, then one guy plays five games in a row. That is such an odd format.

ForGG is not out. If Nightend 2-0's Ret, FOrGG, Nightend, and Nani are all 5-7 map score, 2-3 overall score. Nan>For>Night>Nan

What did he type?

"tt im playing so bad today"

If he really said that then I think that's an improvement and should be seen as a good thing for Naniwa.

It's better to only say gg. Talking about how bad he is playing today makes him seem like a drama queen.

Yes of course it's better to just say gg but considering the alternatives that Naniwa is known for spurting out when losing, I think that still counts as an improvement.

Well, I just have to say this.

Can tournaments please just release a fucking rulebook? This could be so damn simple but instead we're having these discussions.

I'm confused and I'm going home. Someone else do the wiki.

It's the golden rule of SC2 tournaments, make shit as complicated as possible:
1) make sure that no one of the commentators knows the score.
2) make sure there is no central way for people to know the actual score, make them use third sources, such as liquipedia
3) make sure the bracket system is impossible to understand.
4) make sure that the calculation of how each player advances is as hard as possible to figure out.

Nan wins.

Head to head should be more important than map score when you have to select between 2 players

Kind of can't help but root for Nightend/Nani. I really don't want Ret to advance off g2 vs hero.
