Anyway, as someone who doesn't like the current zerg trend very much, I should be happy that Life is out and the other races do stand a chance now ![]()

If there is one guy you can't beat and you draw him for the first match, you can be pretty much crewed. As we saw in MLG, Life vs. Leenock was a pretty much even game, so if he got to play him, it could have been very different. But..But... Life 4-3ed Leenock at MLG ?! What in the world is happening ?! I guess "If A>B and B>C, then A>C" doesn't apply in SC2 :D

At the end of the day, good players should have preparation time, while not so good player can just grind on ZvZ's randomness and win games they shouldn't have. If Life would have made it out ZvZ would have some legitimate skill to it. And no I don't blame life for choosing soulkey nor do I blame soulkey for beating life. I blame leenock for not playing correctly.

Certain players get rewarded for their gimmicky play while the good ZvZ players get punished for being better than said players. Life is definitely better than Leenock. He had a week to prepare. He failed to deliver. The end.

I talked to him at an MLG like last year and he says that good players lose to players worse than them all the time. I believe his example was Inca vs Nada last year in GSL. My example is Leenock vs anybody he beats.

He even got cheesed on antiga, and lost his hatch. And still managed to calmly get back with great decision making. Leenock is an amazing player, just cause he has interpreted SC2 in a different way doesn't mean it's wrong. The more styles the more fun matches we get to watch.
