Moletrap did an amazing job this game I think. He and Doa missed basically nothing and getting excited isn't bad for a caster. He is also not faking it, he really is excited. I loved him this game.

Yes but none knows how to transition in to them or how to fully use them yet. That's the big problem with lategame PvZ right now.
Yeah zerg doesn't really have a choice in playing brood lord infestor in the late-game either that or they just lose lol The only other options for zerg are to: all-in end it in the mid game with muta ling or do max roaches
Oh yeha i agree. I was talking from a p strategy point of view.

LOL foreign Terrans have been complain this for almost a year now the whole community finally realize bl+infestors are OP? This is actually so sad for the foreign Terran pros, their number and voice are too small to hear.

Things that shouldn't happen in sc2 (IMO):
- To be able to warp in 40+ supply into opponents base, it's like a doom drop but without possible punishment (like intercepting it) - Archon toilet to kill a whole army with couple of archons and a mothership, it just doesn't feel right. - Camp 20 minutes on spine+infestor+BL. Fungaling the Mothership = win.
Each side has its 'broken' strats, so after 20 minutes, the only thing remaining is to see who pulls it off first. Weird mu.
That's a pretty good summary. It seems it all comes down to the "terrible terrible damage" piece of shit ideology. This is really sad.
Really, I understand that BL/Infestor is really good (I play Terran) but in that game Rain had all the time in the world to get his composition into a position to deal with DRG and he just didn't do it. I think Infestors need a nerf, but the last game was not really an example of why. Here's to hoping Boxer can straighten Rain out for the rest of the series.

Couldnt agree more. People get mad at the yelling, it was justified that game imo.

Edit: Not talking about all-ins btw.
Oh and btw, Zerg can build Spore without evo in HoTs now
Mhm, what about HTs in warp prisms that are being dropped during the fight to instantaneously feedback and kill the whole infestor army? It would require a shit ton of micro, but it sure as hell would be awesome to see.

When the engagement actually happened, it wasn't too surprising on who would actually win that fight. Rain could have had that, it was 2 bases to 1.. surprisingly not patient enough.
Not patient enough? Are you kidding?
Why did he try attacking that center base? Arguably that started the cascade when he needed more shit to hold his mining bases.
Arguably.
I don't know how you deal with all those infestors. Speed prism magic carpetting templar to feedback en masse?
That magic carpetting HTs just reminded me of JangBang vs NaDa on..Andromeda? Destination? I forget which map. The one JB carpet stormed all the tanks. Mass siege tanks can kind of be alluded to mass infestors...minus the mobility.
It was Othello in one of the earlier proleague matches that round of that PL season.
Stop suggesting carriers against that composition...it's the worst suggestion...if you don't believe me...watch Creator vs. Curious on Cloud Kingdom LE...I think it was WCS Asia and see how Carriers do against broodlord/infestor

plays a 50 minute game, fails to utalize a vortex to its full potential within a 20s timeframe, loses game. looks legit. (not balance whining, just hating on how a 50 minute game can be decided within seconds)

dude can you put this in a balance thread rather than a LR thread?
I'm not sitting here giving suggestions for balance. I talking about the game we just saw. You're watching the same game I am right now, and you can tell that was kind of silly right? >.> We all just sat here for 45 minutes watching it ... Unless somehow you accrued 2.5k posts and can't understand the game that was just played in front of everyone I don't know what else to say. It was silly, nothing more @_@;;
It wasnt silly at all, it was beautiful to watch
If you have absolutely no understanding of the game, or have never encountered this situation yourself; then yes, I totally agree with you.
Regardless, hopefully Rain decides to step it up and just abuse protoss just like DRG abuses BL/Infestor. Inc 2 base timing >.>!

But I am.
Is it always this bad? =(
Not always, but way too much. And about all three races. I think a big part of the problem is that people get married to the idea of certain players being stronger than others and then assume what they're seeing is bearing out their assumptions. Everyone 'knew' going into this game that Bison was better than DRG (which is silly, IMHO), and so when DRG wins a macro game, it must be imbalance. As other people have stated more clearly, it was much more about Bison committing to a questionable strategy and it not paying off no matter how brilliantly he played it than anything balance-related.
