That's 240 IT's that do pretty much the same baseline damage (upgraded with missile attacks) each as a 1/1 marine. I wonder if it will become standard to just absolutely shower people in them Fungals are needed to ensure the army doesnt just laugh and run away.

Yeah but it doesn't seem to work when you just spam the crap out of infested terrans like Leenock did there. Two or three storms blanket the entire area. 12 seconds of storming his whole army and the broodlord count evaporates. Early game against mass roach, colossi make sense. Late game though, they don't seem to.

Why continue to watch if it bothers you so much? A few years of this by now you should know what to expect.

Even if they help to kill broodlings, collus take huge supply and can't fight BL... It seems like every time i see a protoss wining vs infestor/BL, he didn't had many collosi but many archons and a few or none colossi (and yeah he often lands a good vortex )

You don't need that much energy for fungal though, just a few infestors should be enough to lock down an army while IT's go to town long enough that P either has to run and you lose no supply or do a ton of damage during the engagement

try it in the unit tester. get a mothership, move it, then cast vortex under itself while moving. takes like 2 seconds to cast vortex the range on vortex isnt that high as well if you try to cast it on a infestor coming in to NP then you only hit a infestor or 2, not really much broodlords so the zerg just pulls back you spent 100 mothership energy to vortex some infestors so basically if you see the mothership moving, just send in a infestor and NP it because it takes 2 seconds for the vortex to go off also, once NP'ed the mothership is instantly decelerated (even if moving) meaning if you NP a moving mothership as zerg your vortex has a 0 second casttime while the protoss using vortex with a moving mothership has a 2 second casttime (because of the 2 second slowdown) leenock likely realizes this and thus he knows if a zerg realizes this and plays properly, its pretty much impossible to get off vortex against a good zerg (or at best you get a vortex hitting 2-3 infestors and 2-3 broodlords, so 6 infestors and 6 broodlords with a full energy mothership)
