if you're uber gosu then sure you can defend with minimal static d, but just make the investment and you'll save yourself money, larvae, and a huge headache seriously, just build two spores per base. when you're floating that many minerals, you can afford to put some down. same with spines

Zergs don't actually die to mech anyway, they die to hellion banshee in massive numbers. Biomech will make up to 8 hellions and 2 banshee max. Mech just produce them all game long and zerg think you defend both of these with the same amount. -_- Mech is just the final a-move army so you don't lose because misscontroling a bio army in the same spot might lose you the game.

well it's less micro-demanding than marine/tank or pure bio at least Yeah, but unlike bio, if you make one mistake with mech you lose the game. I play mech in all matchups, it's awesome against zerg, but bad against protoss. :p

I know, but when you have a bunch of thor/tank/banshee/vikingand you have a lead as mech you can just a move. With biomech you can lose your entire army at any point in the game, regardless of your lead- ala more mechanically demanding.
