Those rocks only have 500hp. If you destroy them they "collapse" onto the position where you would build the expo at which point they become normal 2000hp destructible rocks. If you build a hatch at the expo and then destroy the rocks the rocks collapse onto the expo dealing 500 damage

Yeah that was pretty bad. Im happy if i can kill a few drones with them against my diamond opponents. Idra straight up loses against it....

Most HotS addition won't completely remap the matchups.
Especially since a lot of them are of a strategic nature and will take time to figure-out.

Most of the new units are not really easily worked into builds and compositions. And players will go back to their bread and butter when that much money is on the line.

Well its not like HoTS comes with a ton of new units. The best way to see cool and funky games would be to have a tournament with out a prize pool. The problem would ofc be to actually get the players to take part ^^

What did you expect? HotS is an expansion to WoL, not a new game. If anything I would be happy that old tactics still works, and new units add some flavour, not completely replacing old units.
