That is such a safe build for him though it would have to be something crazy / incredible cheesy.

Yeah, I liked Curious for doing a 6pool on TDA, simply because a normal 2base push by protoss can hit you harder because your 3rd was late or is far away... instead you can take down those stupid rocks with plenty of lings... although a 6-7 Gate could have ended the game earlier.
It's a risk though, the easiest way to lose an advantage is to cut tech and go for an all-in, if it doesn't work you're more fucked than the zerg ever was It's a risk either way, while playing defensively and macroing can work if the zerg carries on with the aggression it also throws away your lead if the zerg goes wild with greed like curious did and starts expanding everywhere.

Chargelot/archon/blink stalker timing can work if the phoenixes do no damage or you are ahead in some other way from early game.

Quick someone tell them to attack each other so we can skip to the next map.

Also note that Curious used the lings and mutas very well in delaying Protoss pushing out. Bought him enough time to sneak more bases and finally broods on the map. Although some warp prism harass could have worked wonders on this huuuge map. Broods are sooo slow..

You can be aggressive and control expansions without committing to an all-in I felt as if puzzle had to do something during that match, he just did nothing and let curious go nuts with his economy which blew puzzle's lead.
