Which do you want for your national team? ... Who cares as long as one is better now... I'll take the one who started playing soccer 50years ago! Oh wait...

Lets give this a month or so and then you can put up the elephant in the room jokes. Remember when foreigners were beating Koreans in SC2 about a year ago? Yeah, now look at it. Swung back the other way. Umm thats not the reason we knew they would do well. When SC2 came out all those that couldnt cut it in BW switched over and one A-team called MVP. Those that switched over have been able to dominate the scene. So obviously skill sets transferred over for the most part. So once the switch was announced just based on who was on top in SC2, made it pretty clear that the best BW players will eventually be on top in SC2. The only question is how long, how much practice it is going to take until they figure out the game because once they do their superior multitasking and the speed at which they think their way through games will carry them to the top, just like in BW. MVP was really a B team player but was considered A team because his team had such crappy terran players. he was really not that bad -_- come on he beat flash in a macro tvt in 2010. Flash once also got knocked out of the osl first round, by "bad" players" everyone thought he would own that group didnt happen, just because u beat flash once doesnt prove anthing, incontrol beat flash once.

Yeah he was decently good before he quit but beating flash was his only accomplishment in BW
90% of BW players have no " achievements " other than wins and losses in proleague and if you're lucky a solid starleague performance once in your career.

Lets give this a month or so and then you can put up the elephant in the room jokes. Remember when foreigners were beating Koreans in SC2 about a year ago? Yeah, now look at it. Swung back the other way. I'm so fucking sick of these threads. So disgusting everytime a Kespa player wins the troll baiters come out to play. Just fucking cheer for your players you like without insulting literally every player that people who havnt watched much or any BW have followed for 2 years. It is ridiculously disrespectful. I really hope this goes the way of the USA Stephano chants considering how mods looked at that joke. The irony is of course that the guys rooting for Kespa are also acknowledging the play by GSL. The GSL fans are saying things like "wow GSL player X plays so bad". The irony is that you are picking out only the things that you dislike. I have seen many comments about how they are getting much better. Perhaps you should read interviews by Jaedong or Soulkey and see what they think of their skills or of the pressure on Gom players. The excuse of pressure is completely legitimate. Kespa players are getting MUCH better and some are even truly shining. The shit talk isn't needed either way.
If you pay careful attention, I for example, am not shit talking GSL players. When I say Kespa players are more talented, I am not putting the GSL players down, I am putting the Kespa players on a pedestal. People are saying Elephant stomp but that is not saying the GSL players are crap either. I didn't see a single Kespa fan say that Gumiho sucks lol, or DRG what a noob. Perhaps they said Effort's mechanics are better, but is that really bashing DRG? No, it's not. I could find you a dozen quotes without any effort about how GSL players are shit by their own fans. That is because they wish to discredit the Kespa wins. Sure the pressure plays a role, I have no issue with that. But is it the sole reason (along with other line of excuses) they lost, as it has been implied? Definitely not.

But i always wondered what would happen if every BW Pro would switch. My opinion was that kespa players would need a lot of time to catch up and after 6++ months or so top GSL and top Kespa would be equally represented in the top 10. Clearly i was wrong. Somehow there is no visible progress for a couple of the best gsl players. No one is blowing me away anymore like DRG did when he came up.
btw how many Kespa players are there? How many of them will stick around?
I guess maybe 40 or 50 Kespa players around Soulkey's level.

Yea, but technically there's never been a reason for them not to, even last season. Hopefully they do try. I think GOM may give some of the players that do well in WCS/OSL Up and Down or Code A seeds though.

GSL players have only won 4 games vs KeSPA players since then O_O Granted the players you expect to dominate from GOM won and the players that trip over their own feet outside of GSTL did poorly so I'm not terribly surprised. Just pleasantly surprised. Well King of Code A and GSTL reject Yugioh lost both his games to KeSPA players 0-2. King of the Code A < Greatest players of Brood War, didn't see that coming go figure
