On August 18 2012 03:32 rotinegg wrote: are you fucking kidding me? iron??? -_- Incidentally, he is the player with the highest tournament earnings globally since SC2's inception: http://sc2earnings.com He also won the GSL two times, until Seed's recent win (over MC, no less) the only Protoss player to be able to win GSL at all. I guess players develop over time and do not stay at a certain skill level forever, especially when switching to a different game. Anyways, thanks for the translation. And expect MC to be always like that. That's why he has thousands of fans worldwide. His last tweet was adorable, either way, hehe. P.S.: "Alliance" is refering to the eSports Federation that most Korean non-KeSPA teams joined.

#2307 dunno why MC had to say those things. The KeSPA players are so mannered. Have you watched combat sports? Twitter wars and smack talk is an important part of marketing yourself. This "elephant" thing has grown way out of control! Player A beating player B at high level does not mean so much these days. Some recent examples: ByuN losing to Therius in the WCS Korea qualifyers group A. Ace and Oz losing to TargA in IEM open qualifyers, Bracket B. Polt losing to finale in the IEM Korean qualifyers and MANY other examples out there! The Kespa guys started horribly, then continued amazingly. PLEASE wait at least to see who the top 10 guys are to jump to any conclusions... Also, the way GSL invited people could be questioned, giving maybe too much credit to early accomplishments getting big names, but not the players in the best form. For me the Koreans vs Foreginers discussion is way more interresting. The world finals could be epic!

"Please don't give these players a hard time for their poor performance vs Kespa players". Must be a lot of vitriol on the Korean forums over the GSL losing streak.

It absolutely didn't look like much, but I just felt there was a huge intimidation factor. Genius was also breathing heavily after his loss in game two and was shaking his hands and all. I mean this is Genius, the guy who likes to Manner BM his opponents and do ceremonies against big opponents. I get pretty intimidated when I face certain pros on ladder(not bragging =P), but one can wonder how Genius feels having to go up against The Tyrant. Imagine yourself playing a game against a guy who literally was a fucking machine for several years. His mechanics thinking and general mentality is miles better than yours and you are damn well aware of that. In fact his victories over several years, that inspired thousands of players and spawned so many fans, cannot be compared to your puny achievements. The only thing you have to offer is that you are better at this particular game and your know that not for long. They are kids after all, nothing to be ashamed of. This post might be the best I've ever seen at TL. Well done. EDIT: Not a troll...honestly I do think this post is awesome
