Protosses opening gateway first and zergs doing non-roachy focused things during lair tech. Seems like everyone from both sides are being pulled in all sorts of crazy directions! I agree. No one knows for sure what to do and the Zergs seem to get the better end of it. Tell that to Seed Creator and Oz. They have good results, and also lose to players they should theoretically beat, don't really get what your point is? Every player from every race loses to people they should beat. Your point? Oh I thought you were holding up Seed/Creator/Oz as consistent PvZ specialists, whereas they are all a bit inconsistent in the matchup. There are few genuine Protoss PvZ monsters these days, a la Stephano's vP, but equally most top Protoss can beat top Zergs on their day. There's noone who's really consistent in the matchup, Stephano can go from dismantling Hero to dropping 0-2 to Oz in the same day. This cycle happens every PvZ, either the Protoss does some strong attacks that everyone says "wow don't know how Zerg is supposed to hold that, dumb matchup". Or the zerg wins and people say "wow I dont think protoss can deal with that, dumb matchup". But by that measurement, no one is consistent in any match up. There is a lot of variance in SC2, I'm not convinced it is any worse in PvZ than in other match-ups.

All space sharks decked out with various lasers, black holes, and guns that shoot bees.
Lasers... sounds like protoss. Black holes... sounds like mothership. Bees... sounds like carrier.
You're suggesting they change all protoss models into sharks?

I really wish mapmakers will stop putting those overlord hiding spots all over their maps. It's gotten a bit ridiculous.

Maybe its been mentioned, by why do they play on the same map twice in a Bo5?

It's always been unstable, but the no-rush games these days are just making it agonizing. well... you can do soemthing about the no-rush part... zerg has a very effective economical 7 pool vs forge expands and is decently even against gateway first expands. while protoss has some great timings vs the standard roach warren build timing zergs use. if you go gateway> nexus> core> forge and chronoboost the upgrades decently well, you can attack a zerg at 7:10 with 6-7 +1 zealots, while getting +2 and blink. it even stops a 6pool. there's a lot of timings that neither zerg nor protoss have bothered to figure out, which can be quite strong. that +1 zealot timing is almost a 100% third kill if the zerg's playing the standard, while the economical 7pool can force any forge fast expand to be turned into a 2-3 gateway expand. Those kinds of builds are pretty map specific to get the timings really crisp though, especially pressure builds that require building units from your gates instead of relying on warpins

I have no idea how this could be tied to the qualifying system. If you're not looking forward to Naniwa playing then I don't know how you can watch Starcraft at all.

That was so weird. He knew that there was an overlord watching the movement of his Stalkers. Why would such an attack work? I don't get it, Naniwa usually plays so much better!
