I reckon it;s time for the eco 7pool to shine vs FFE

Your pretty much saying that your opponent is winning because of his race rather then skill.

No. Cruncher was "famous" for sitting back and maxing with Colossus/void rays/stalkers.
But it was duing the roach/hydra/corruptor era. Cruncher style obviously doesnt work anymore.

IIRC Cruncher was known for getting like 3 bases and sitting back until he had a ton of colossi + void rays + gateway units back before zergs knew how to deal with a protoss deathball leading up to the infestor buff
I miss the days before Zergs knew how to use infestors.

is this map as bad for pvz as it is for tvz?
Like the ultimate infestor/ling turtle to broods map.

I really don't understand the people who hate players. Why hate a person you don't even know? Why take joy from his failures? Naniwa is always fun to watch, always creative. It's good for the matchups and good entertainment. That's all I care about.
I really hope Naniwa figures out PvZ and gets rid of his frustration. I really feel like he's defeating himself.

I hope he drops out of the GSL so ppl stop saying he is good because he plays horrible and expects to win. Aha dayum. Naniwa loses two games, ro8 gsl no longer counts. Dat logic! u dont seem to follow naniwa lately, right? i agree that he is good, but his gsl ro8 runs seem to be so overrated as well ~~ he is on code S level, but not consistantly and yet lucky enough to stay in there for 2 seasons. thats how i see it
Yeah its called a run of bad form. It happens in all sports. Polt and Bomber often go through bad patches - does that mean they are horrible and still expect to win?

Against foreigner zergs mainly, which is why it's so baffling. Naniwa has a very good track record against the top zergs in the world - he beats Nestea almost every time, has beaten Leenock, and goes close with DRG. You'd expect if he can beat Nestea so often and take DRG to five games just a week ago, he should be able to handle a typical foreigner Zerg or at least not get completely manhandled.

Ohana stats make no sense to me. It shows 52-48, yet in Korea it's 53-60 and overall it's 111-121.
Which results in 52% to 48%? Then it would be 48 to 52; this makes no sense at all. For relevance we're using TLPD stats from 2012 so that may be it. Both databases combined.
I'm 80% sure it's the last X games for all stats: last 25 games in each matchup and last 100 games on the maps. That way, things are "as current/relevant as possible."

I miss the days before Protoss knew how to use warp prisms.

I agree. No one knows for sure what to do and the Zergs seem to get the better end of it.

That is a pretty good analogy tbh. As someone who has played him countless times. JRecco seems to know he has pretty good army engagements, he always makes sure he cuts down the retreat path of the enemy army with a sling surround.
Protoss army is a lot more powerful with a stalker barrier at the front and Colossus at the back than on a tight ball shooting in multiple directions because it diminishes Colossus damage and increases enemy surface area. JRecco's very good at engagements, many of those battles could have been lost with bad positioning.

How can Naniwa go from almost beating DRG, to losing to Jrecco?
Just tilting?

I can't talk about PvZ balance, but I can talk as a spectator, and say it's just not a fun matchup to watch.
