Interceptors should definetely be free or cost energy, but more importantly, Creator let Curious win that game, he had nothing to defend his 4th, at least not nearly enough to defeat a 6k bank.

Creator should have had that game a long time ago. He did not capitalize on his advantages in the mid-game and all his strategy choices after that were wrecked by nerves. Getting a whole raid group wiped out with no recall. Double-cast vortex which got nothing.

This was some huge choking from Creator. I wonder what got to him?

guess what, creator had a lot of gas, too. but he can not build anything that is not countered by infestors.
I dont meant to max on infestors only ofc, curios played a good game with all that spines in the main etc and the broodlords especially, but there is nothing that creator could do to counter the energy produced by the infestors.
the game would be balanced if there was a counter that required energy, too, (maybe interceptors for energy?)

Carriers already cost a shit ton of resources and take forever to make.



imagine broodlords that can attack air and have a higher range (interceptors can go up till 14 range), and has a higher dps, and has more hp, while costing 50 minerals more

I enjoy watching endgame situations most, where build orders are no longer relevant and positioning and clever moves decides the outcome. That game really showed how much better Curious played than Creator.

It's an old mechanic that carried over from SC:1.

Unfortunately Carriers are not even close to as powerful as they were in Brood War for a lot of reasons, and so their mineral cost on Interceptors doesn't make as much sense as it did in SC:1

Blizzard unfortunately doesn't think so. They've totally done nothing with it since the beta.

Blizzard have tweaked so much with the balance of basically everything except carriers. No changes at all until removal in HOTS. They didn't even try to make them work.
