But if it was like last year, the qualifiers will be like WCS and broken into several parts. Top 8 GSL players were seeded. Top 8 GSL to get seeded (not sure if Kespa will get seeds). 32 players 8 groups ODT start on Aug 2-5 (conflict with ASUS ROG) 16 main 4 group round robin. 8 man playoffs with the Top 3 qualifing for Main WCG (MVP, MKP, SuperNova qualified for Korea last year) Again, this is spectulations based on interviews. The schedule will likely be different since it was dragged out quite a bit last year since only GSL was going on at that time. But now, there is OSL as well (GSL is replaced by WCS in August) so I can see them compressing the schedule a bit. It was mainly played on weekends. Also, likely that Kespa players will join the qualifiers so there will be more more GSL vs Kespa games. Don't remember if the prelims were streamed last year but the group stages were all broadcasted. | ||
